Last night with the Troop, family, and friends was perfect!! The Weather was great for an evening trip!! . Previous Older scouts joined us, and some new ones learned to ski and snowboard for the first time !!!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Congrats to our 2018 Eagle Scout, PEYTON SHERRILL on your beautiful wedding day yesterday!! It was wonderful to see many of the Older 505 Eagle Scouts be together and participate in the wedding and continue to hold that sacred bond...

From Cooking, Camping, rock wall climbing, co****le, fishing, guided Park Ranger hikes and more ...We thoroughly enjoyed our Trip this past weekend !! We learned why we call it Greensboro after Nathaniel Greene. We also visited a statue and learned about Joseph Winston (the man who we named Winston-Salem after years ago).. We could not have asked for more perfect weather!! We also took a moment to remember our Boy Scout, Tom Cowden, who we lost in 2012 as yesterday was his birthday!! It was a great weekend. !!

It was a great weekend spent in Cherokee!!! Viewing Elk, Whitewater rafting , rock skipping in the creeks, swimming, Fontana Dam, Mingo Falls, cascades,hiking and ice cream 🍦 were all accomplished !!! The scouts did great and we were so proud of all of them!!

Nathan Darnell has been working on his Eagle Scout project and officially dropped it off at its new location. His project was to build a flag retirement box so that the community has a place to properly retire American Flags. Thank you to Yadkinville Fire station for letting him use that as his location and also a huge thank you to Troop 505 and their participation in making it happen!! 🇺🇸
