The Grand York Rite of South Dakota was well represented during the Mobridge Sitting Bull Stampede Parade on Friday, July 3, 2026! Pictured are Companion Derek Runge, Most Excellent Grand High Priest of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of South Dakota; Companion Tony M. Larsen, Most Illustrious Grand Master of the Grand Council of Cryptic Masons of South Dakota; and Sir Knight Gary Waack, Right Eminent Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of South Dakota. These Companions & Sir Knights gave out mini frisbees with the York Rite logo and QR codes for yorkrite.org/wp/become-a-member & beafreemason.org

The Eightieth Summer Assembly of the Black Hills Conclave of the Order of the Red Cross of Constantine and Appendant Orders was held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Pierre Masonic Temple in Pierre, South Dakota, led by Puissant Sovereign Gary Waack. Two new Knight-Companions were installed into the Order during this Assembly. Congratulations to Knights-Companions Warren E. Berry & Chad Tipton.

Black Hills College No. 29 of the York Rite Sovereign College of North America held their Annual Assembly of the College on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Pierre Masonic Temple in Pierre, South Dakota. Congratulations to Preeminent Companion Knight Tony M. Larsen on a successful conclusion of his term as Governor of the College and congratulations to the new Governor of the College for 2026-2027, Preeminent Companion Knight Warren E. Berry.

Thank you to the Companions of Temple Council No. 7 of Cryptic Masons of South Dakota for traveling to the Mobridge Masonic Temple to have the Council Meeting on Wednesday, April 8, 2026! The Mobridge York Rite Club hosted dinner prior to the meeting with meatloaf muffins, mashed potatoes & gravy, and, of course, green beans! The meeting was well attended with thirteen Companions present.

The Mobridge York Rite Club will be hosting the Pierre York Rite Bodies at the Mobridge Masonic Temple, located at 522 N Main St, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, for a Traveling Stated Meeting of Temple Council No. 7 Cryptic Masons. Supper will start at 6:15 PM and the Council Meeting will start at 7:00 PM. Please wear your purple Council uniforms and bring your Council ritual books. Please use the north facing door on 6th St. Thank you.

The Mobridge Shriners & Masons will be jointly holding a Pancake & Sausage Feed on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mobridge Masonic Temple located at 522 North Main Street. Ramp access door is located on the north side of the building on 6th Street. This event is free will donation. Proceeds benefit the Mobridge Shriners & Masons and are not tax deductible. Bring your family and friends to enjoy delicious pancakes & sausage and support your local Shriners & Masons!
