🎓 We are so proud of Roosevelt! 🙌

What an incredible journey it has been watching God work in Roosevelt’s life here at Agape Life Gardens.

Roosevelt successfully graduated from our 90-Day Program, continued through and completed our Fourth Phase, and has now stepped into a new season as a Ministry Intern with Agape Life Gardens. But God isn’t finished yet!

Roosevelt is preparing to begin missionary school with International Gospel Outreach (IGO), where he will be trained, equipped, and prepared to be sent wherever God calls him. 🌎🔥

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with International Gospel Outreach and for the way IGO continues to support Agape, invest in our men, and help us raise up disciples who are ready to serve the Kingdom.

Roosevelt, we are proud of you! We’ve watched you grow, persevere, serve, and continue saying “yes” to God. We can’t wait to see where the Lord takes you next.

“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: ‘Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?’ Then I said, ‘Here am I! Send me.’” — Isaiah 6:8 NKJV

From recovery, to discipleship, to leadership, to being sent out for the Kingdom—this is what transformation looks like.

🔥 MEN’S OUTDOOR BANQUET | FELLOWSHIP • FOOD • FAITH 🔥

What a blessing for the men of Agape Life Gardens to attend the Men’s Outdoor Banquet and hear a powerful message from Lee McBride!

It was an incredible evening filled with brotherhood, great barbecue, plenty of laughs from some pretty funny hunting stories, and—most importantly—the Gospel of Jesus Christ being preached. 🙌

We want to give a very special thank you to our board member, Mike Campbell, affectionately known around Agape as “Uncle Mike.” Uncle Mike generously sponsored all of our men so they could attend this event. Brother, thank you for continually believing in this ministry, investing in these men, and supporting Agape in so many different ways. The men truly loved and enjoyed the evening!

We believe with everything in us that God is still in the business of transforming lives. He restores what was broken, gives purpose to the lost, and raises up men to become the husbands, fathers, leaders, and men of God He created them to be. And that is exactly what we are watching happen at Agape Life Gardens. ❤️

🔥 GATHERING OF CHAMPIONS — WHAT AN AWESOME MORNING! 🔥

What an incredible morning at the Gathering of Champions Men’s Event at Resurrection Church in Daphne, Alabama!

We were blessed with powerful messages about identity, affirmation, and authority—challenging us as men to take our rightful place as spiritual leaders, priests of our households, and godly men in our communities.

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people…” — 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV

The fellowship was amazing. The food was amazing. The messages were powerful. Most importantly, the men received today!

We want to give a very special thank you to Shane Cowart for sponsoring the men from Agape and making it possible for them to attend. We love you so much, brother! Thank you for believing in these men, sowing into their lives, and helping give them opportunities to grow into the men God has called them to be. Seeds were planted today that we believe will produce fruit for generations to come.

A huge thank you as well to Brandon Sanders and Carrie Dawn Sanders for hosting, organizing, and pouring so much into making this event possible. We love Wings of Life and are incredibly grateful for everything they continue to do for individuals, families, and our communities.

But above everything else, THANK YOU, JESUS! 🙌

Thank You for saving us.
Thank You for delivering us.
Thank You for setting us free.
Thank You for restoring our identity.
Thank You for teaching us what it means to be biblical men in a broken society.

Pastor Matthew Murray had the opportunity to attend the Semmes Chamber of Commerce meeting today, representing Agape Life Gardens Discipleship Home!

We love getting out into our community, building relationships, and connecting with the local partners who help make a difference in the lives of others.

We are incredibly grateful for Pastor Matthew and all that he does to represent our sober living discipleship program and the heart of Agape Life Gardens. His dedication to serving others and sharing our mission is truly appreciated.

A special thank you to the Sims Chamber of Commerce for all you do to strengthen, support, and bring our community together. We’re grateful to be a part of it! 🌳💙

🔥 Jeremiah 23:29 — The Power of God’s Word

“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” — Jeremiah 23:29 (KJV)

God’s Word is not empty or powerless. The Lord compares His Word to fire and to a hammer.

Fire burns away what does not belong. It purifies, exposes, and brings light into dark places. Sometimes when we read God’s Word, it convicts us because God is showing us something that needs to change.

His Word is also like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces. There may be areas of our hearts that have become hard because of sin, disappointment, pride, or unforgiveness. But no heart is too hard for the Word of God.

We don’t need to change God’s Word to fit our lives. We need to allow God’s Word to change us.

So today, don’t just read the Bible—let the Bible read you. Let God’s Word burn away the things that need to go, break down the walls that need to come down, and shape you into the person Christ has called you to be.

📖 OPEN OUR EYES

Scripture — Psalm 119:18 (KJV)
“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.”

Devotion

As we open God’s Word, let us not simply read the words on the page, but let us ask the Lord to open our eyes and reveal His truth to us.

“Open thou mine eyes…”

What a powerful prayer. We need God to open the eyes of our hearts so that we can see what He wants us to see, understand what He wants us to understand, and apply His Word to our lives.

Let us never become stagnant in our walk with Christ. There is always more to learn, more truth to discover, and more growing to do. As we dig deep into God’s Word, may we continue to grow in truth, grow in knowledge, and grow in grace.

Every day, we should desire to know Him more, follow Him closer, and become more like Christ.

Let us keep pressing forward. Let us keep seeking Him. Let us keep opening His Word with hungry hearts and willing spirits.

“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.”

Lord, open our eyes today. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts. Help us to understand Your truth and apply it to our lives. Keep us from becoming stagnant, and help us continue to grow in Your grace, Your knowledge, and Your truth. Help us to press forward toward the high calling that is found in Christ Jesus.

Keep growing. Keep seeking. Keep pressing forward. Keep your eyes on Jesus. 🙏📖✝️

Fix Your Eyes on Jesus

📖 Hebrews 12:2 KJV

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…”

Today, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

When life happens, when trials come, when tribulation comes, and when temptations come, let us keep our eyes fixed on the One who can carry us through it all. Jesus is our King, our God, our Lord, and our Savior.

We may not always understand what we are going through, but we can trust the One who is leading us through it. Let us continue to walk in the path of righteousness for His name’s sake, knowing that our hope is not in ourselves but in Christ.

It is all because of the finished work of the cross—because of what Jesus has already done for us.

So today, don’t look at the storm.
Don’t look at the trial.
Don’t look at the temptation.

Fix your eyes on Jesus.

He is all in all, and He is faithful to finish what He has started in us.

Devotion: Sealed by the Holy Spirit
Scripture (KJV): Ephesians 1:13

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.” — Ephesians 1:13 (KJV)

Devotional:

Salvation begins with hearing the truth. Paul reminds us that faith comes after hearing the gospel—the good news of Jesus Christ. When we hear God’s Word, believe it with our hearts, and place our trust in Christ, something incredible happens: we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

In Bible times, a seal represented ownership, authenticity, and protection. God places His seal upon every true believer through the Holy Spirit. That means you belong to Him. You are not abandoned or left to walk this journey alone. The Holy Spirit lives within you to guide, convict, comfort, and strengthen you until the day Christ returns.

Our assurance is not found in our feelings or our performance but in God’s promise. He has marked His children as His own. Because we are sealed by the Spirit, we can walk in confidence, knowing that the One who saved us is faithful to keep us.
