What a powerful night at Agape Life Gardens Residency Program!

We were honored to have Zach and Ashley Buckalew come and minister to the men. Zach is a graduate of the Agape Discipleship Home, and Ashley faithfully served as a House Mom in our women's home. To see where God has brought them from and how He is using them today is nothing short of amazing.

Their testimony is a living example of God's redeeming power. What the enemy meant for harm, God has turned into a ministry that is impacting lives and advancing His Kingdom. Zach and Ashley shared from their hearts, encouraged the men, prayed over them, and reminded us all that God's work in our lives doesn't stop at salvation—it continues as we surrender to His purpose.

The men were deeply blessed by their ministry, and moments like this remind us why discipleship matters. Seeing former residents return, walking in victory and pouring back into others, is one of the greatest joys we experience.

We are incredibly proud of Zach and Ashley and thankful for the calling God has placed on their lives. They are a powerhouse couple for the Kingdom, and we look forward to watching God continue to use them in mighty ways.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together... but encouraging one another." — Hebrews 10:24-25

What an incredible night at Worship Under the Stars!

We want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to Stephen Roberts for putting together such a beautiful event and for choosing to feature Agape Life Gardens. What an amazing opportunity it was to raise support for the mission God has given us — helping men break free from drugs and alcohol and find hope, healing, and new life through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The worship was powerful, the music was outstanding, and the presence of God was truly felt throughout the night. We were also blessed to serve a whole lot of pulled pork to everyone who came out!

A special thank you to KC and Piggly Wiggly for donating the pork butts and for your continued generosity and support of our ministry. Your partnership helps make it possible for us to continue changing lives and serving our community.

Thank you as well to every volunteer, worship team member, and every person behind the scenes who helped make this event such a success. Your hard work and servant hearts did not go unnoticed.

What an absolutely AMAZING weekend at the Encounter Ministry Retreat! 🙌🔥

All we can say is WOW. Sometimes you just have to get on the bus and trust the process — and God will do the rest! This weekend, the men from the Agape Life Gardens Residency Program were beyond blessed to be a part of such a powerful move of God.

Chains were broken.
Sin was forgiven.
Lives were transformed.
Freedom was found.
And hearts were changed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! ✝️🔥

We want to give a huge shoutout to Corey Tate, Peanut, Bax, Seab and the entire Encounter Ministry team for the incredible job they did this weekend and for all they continue to do for the Kingdom of God. Your obedience, love, and passion for reaching men is making an eternal impact, and we are truly thankful and honored to have participated in this retreat.

Here at Agape Life Gardens, men’s lives are being changed daily and transformed into the image of the living God. We are stepping out in faith and sharing a real need for our ministry 🙏

At Agape Life Gardens, transportation is not just a convenience—it’s essential. We need a ministry van to help take our men to work, doctor’s appointments (including Victory Health Clinic), church, recovery meetings, and life-giving events that support their growth and restoration.

Right now, we are praying diligently for God to provide a van or a large vehicle that can serve this purpose. If you or someone you know has a vehicle you would be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful.

This is truly good soil to sow into. Every mile driven represents a life being discipled, restored, and drawn closer to Christ.
