Words From Momma P: 💜🫶🏾

Today marks two years of Ambitiously Him Her- King Foundation calling Central Midtown home. I’m spending this anniversary in bed, navigating some health scares, but even in the uncertainty, my heart is full of gratitude.

When you spend so much of your life trying to be strong, you never forget the people who give you a place to simply be. A place where you can breathe, serve, grow, and feel loved without having to hide parts of yourself.

Central Midtown has been that place for me.

Since coming here, God has blessed me through genuine people, meaningful connections, and a community that has made room for both me and the young parents I love so deeply. They welcomed the mission, and they welcomed the woman carrying it.

As Momma P, I pour so much into others. Being surrounded by people who pour back into me has meant more than I can explain. Today, while my body needs rest, I’m allowing myself to receive that love.

Thank you, Central Midtown, for two years of belonging. For accepting me as I am. For embracing our young parents. And for creating an atmosphere where we have room to thrive.

God knew I needed this community, too.

UPDATE:

All application slots for MOBILE county have been filled. Applications are currently CLOSED.

If additional application slots become available for MOBILE County, they will open tomorrow, Thursday, October 15, at 2:00 PM.

BALDWIN and WASHINGTON County residents may still apply.

Important Info:

You need a valid email address and a device that will let you take pictures of the required documents to upload with your application.

There is no invitation code you needed. Simply put in the zip code for your home (not a PO Box) to begin your application.

After answering all the questions be sure upload all the required documents and submit the application.

The Salvation Army of Coastal Alabama serves residents of Mobile, Baldwin and Washington Counties with children ages 12 and under. If you live in another county or state please reach out to your local Salvation Army for assistance.

This year’s registration will be completely online.

Required Documents:
-Photo ID
-Birth Certificates for ALL children 12 and under - OR- proof of legal custody
-Proof of residency (i.e. utility bill or official mail showing name and address)
-Proof of Need (only one of the following: Current SNAP notice of action statement, TAN-F Statement, SSI or SSD Benefit Letter, or Paystubs for current month).
