The Clotilda Descendants Association extends our heartfelt gratitude to all who joined us in commemorating a powerful legacy during the 2025 Landing Event & Ancestor Festival, which marked the 165th Anniversary of the Clotilda landing.

Throughout this meaningful four day weekend, we hosted seven remarkable events, providing descendants & community friends the chance to connect deeply, celebrate our shared heritage, and respectfully remember the resilience of all who endured the harrowing journey of the Clotilda.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at our special events:
• Meet & Greet at Clotilda: The Exhibition at the Africatown Heritage House
• Cocktail Reception at Kazoola
• Ancestor Festival at the Robert L. Hope Center
• Protect Truth Summit featuring New York Times journalist Jamelle Bouie with Kinfolkology
• Annual Landing Event Ceremony beneath the Africatown Bridge
• Clotilda Landing Site Boat Cruise aboard the Perdido Queen Dinner Cruise
• Worship Service at Union Baptist Church
