🦁 BOLD AS A LION MEN'S CONFERENCE 2025 🦁

Men of God, it's time to rise up!

I'm encouraging every man, pastor, minister, small group leader, father, son, and brother in Christ to make plans NOW to attend the Empower Men's Conference: Bold As A Lion.

This is more than just another conference—it's an opportunity for men to come together, be strengthened in their faith, sharpen one another, and boldly pursue the calling God has placed on their lives.

For years, we have attended this event, and it has never disappointed. Every year we leave encouraged, challenged, refreshed, and more passionate about serving Christ. The speakers are outstanding, the worship is powerful, the fellowship is genuine, and the food is always great!

In a world that is constantly trying to weaken biblical manhood, we need godly men standing shoulder to shoulder, worshiping together, praying together, and encouraging one another to stay strong in the faith.

"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." — 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Now more than ever, the Body of Christ needs unity. We need pastors encouraging pastors, fathers discipling sons, brothers strengthening brothers, and men of God gathering together to seek the Lord.

Don't sit this one out.

Women's Resource Center is hosting their Baby Bottle Coin drive.

Fill up a bottle with your spare change and drop it off.

That’s all you have to do , and you will be helping babies in our local area receive food, clothing, comfort, and love.

After almost two years of hard work, perseverance, and faith, Billy Barnes has officially been approved to get his driver’s license back—after more than 30 years without one. What a testimony of redemption and restoration!

Billy first came into our lives in a way we’ll never forget—traveling by kayak all the way from Tennessee down to the Chickasabogue boat launch here in Chickasaw, where we met him. He joined us to help with some remodeling work and to be part of Christian fellowship, and before long, he made the decision to enter our discipleship program.

Since then, Billy’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring. After graduating the program, he stepped into leadership as a house manager and team leader at Agape Life Gardens. For nearly three years, he has faithfully served, grown, and poured into others. Just a month ago, he took another big step—moving into his own place, holding down a job he loves, and building a strong, healthy community around him.

Billy has worked diligently to make things right—paying off past restitutions, clearing up legal matters, and walking the long road of obedience and responsibility so he could be restored.

We are stepping out in faith and sharing a real need for our ministry 🙏

At Agape Life Gardens, transportation is not just a convenience—it’s essential. We need a ministry van to help take our men to work, doctor’s appointments (including Victory Health Clinic), church, recovery meetings, and life-giving events that support their growth and restoration.

Right now, we are praying diligently for God to provide a van or a large vehicle that can serve this purpose. If you or someone you know has a vehicle you would be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful.

This is truly good soil to sow into. Every mile driven represents a life being discipled, restored, and drawn closer to Christ.

“Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”

We are excited to share that as we approach our very first graduations and celebrate powerful success stories, we now have beds available in our 90-day residential program—and we are officially accepting new applications.

If you or someone you know is struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, there is hope. At Agape Life Gardens, we offer a Jesus-centered, faith-based recovery program designed to bring lasting transformation—not just sobriety, but true purpose, identity, and freedom in Christ.

Our heart is to walk alongside each resident as they:

✨ Discover their God-given purpose
✨ Build strong foundations for lifelong recovery
✨ Re-enter society equipped for success through faith
