The Mobile Section held its April meeting at Pensacola High School, in Pensacola Fl. Will Sylvester, Sr. Account Executive for Novarc was the speaker for the evening. Mr. Sylvester gave a presentation on robotic pipe welding.

There were 71 members and guest in attendance at the meeting.

Door prizes were awarded at the close of the meeting.

The Mobile Section wants to thank AIDT Maritime Training Center in Mobile, AL for hosting the sections February monthly meeting and Esab for sponsoring the meeting. Robert Koltz of Esab was the guest speaker for the night and presented on Submerged Arc Welding. There were 43 members and guests that attended. All students in attendance received a pair of safety glasses and door prizes were awarded. Gregory House was the winner of the grand prize.
