Restoration 901

Restoration 901 The group’s first priority will be halting the decay that threatens to destroy one of Mobile’s most familiar landmarks.

Restoration 901 has formed to raise awareness and support for projects that strengthen a sense of community and preserve Mobile’s architectural legacy while improving peoples lives. Government Street United Methodist Church is the sole remaining structure of historic significance situated at the traditional gateway into downtown –the intersection of Broad and Government Streets. Similar projects will be sought for future efforts.

Major thanks to attorney Jim Roberts of Daphne and his paralegal Elaine Hare. They have completed our Non-profit incorporation filing with the state.

Next we need assistance in filing for tax exempt status with the IRS. Anyone have expertise or someone to refer us to?
