🐾 THAT’S THE Right Way to RESCUE. RIGHT THERE. 💚

It’s been two grueling days of trapping, waiting, hoping, and praying. And then, finally, it happened! 🙏

We got a mama and her baby, and right next door, we caught another mama and her three babies! 🐈🐈‍⬛

Both moms will be spayed, ear-tipped, and returned to their caretakers, where they can continue living safely without adding more kittens to an already overwhelming crisis.

💚 The rule in rescue is simple: NEVER take the kittens and leave Mama behind.

If you aren’t spaying Mom, you’re not getting to the root of the problem. You’re only treating the symptoms while the cycle continues.

Let that sink in.

Real rescue means addressing the problem at its source. It means patience, hard work, long hours, and doing what’s right for these cats—even when it takes days to make it happen.

This is how we make a difference. One mama. One litter. One colony at a time.

🎉🐾 THREE CHEERS FOR WHITE SOCKS! 🐾🎉

Our sweet girl has been adopted, and we couldn’t be happier! ❤️

White Socks has found a loving family who will cherish her and treat her like the little queen she is. 👑 She’s the sweetest girl who loves belly rubs, pets, hugs, cozy couches, and curling up in a warm lap. And now, she’s going to have all the love and comfort she deserves!

We’re so happy we could help her find her perfect new beginning. Every cat deserves a family to call their own, and White Socks has found hers. 🏡💕

Now for some fantastic news; Marshmallow our pride and joy Turkish Angora ~fluff meister! Has gone on her journey to become a foster to adopt kitty with a new family!

Let’s wish her well and hopefully she’ll fit into her new home and find her happy ever after with this lovely family! Three Cheers and many purrs for her 💕👏🏼🐾

Good luck on your new beginnings~ we’re pretty sure this is going to be a great fit.

Urgent 🚨
This beautiful cat found herself at a local shelter. She’s used to living outdoors.
Does anybody have a barn or a backyard placement for this beautiful Calico? We’d be happy to get her fixed vaccinated, ear tipped and even set you up with a retention. Crate to help her acclimate to her new environment.
Please share far and wide her time is running out, and the clock is ticking!

We’re just gonna leave this right here….
The number of calls, text messages and emails we get about a mama cat that had kittens and nobody can keep them will seriously diminish if people act quickly and get help to fix a pregnant cat.
There’s still time to Spay her. Contact a local rescues ..make a plan that’s going to prevent more before they happen.

It’s a controversial concept, but it must be considered. They’re simply aren’t enough safe homes for the all Kittens.

Find a cat; Please contact rescues for a spay / neuter assistance! 🐾✅

💚🐾 FOUR HAPPY ADOPTIONS TODAY! 🐾💥

Congratulations to Nimbus, our sweet black Bombay baby; so nice he’s pictured twice, mom and daughter each wanted a picture! lol
Sammy, the cutest little tabby you ever wanted to meet; and Hammy and Lexie, (who aren’t pictured because )we were so busy this afternoon celebrating FOUR adoptions! 🎉

We couldn’t be happier for these kitties and their wonderful new families. We met some amazing people today!

After having to evacuate our cats from PetSmart because of the hurricane, we brought them right back as soon as it was safe—and just like that, four found their forever homes! ❤️

Now we can get back to what we do best: saving more cats!

🐾💚 HURRICANE REMINDER FOR OUR COMMUNITY CAT FEEDERS 💚🐾

As we prepare for the approaching hurricane, please remember to feed your outdoor cats early tomorrow so they have time to eat and retreat to their safe shelter before the storm arrives.

They didn’t choose this life. They’re just trying to survive. 💔

Please don’t forget the little lives that depend on us. A little kindness and preparation can make a big difference. Keep them safe, and please stay safe, too. 🙏🐾💚

💚🐾 A HAPPY UPDATE ON OUR LITTLE SURVIVORS! 🐾💚

A few weeks ago, these kittens were rescued in heartbreaking condition, with severe eye infections. Sadly, two of them will likely lose an eye—but the good news is that the rest of them should be okay, and we are 100% okay with them having one good eye. ❤️

This is exactly why fostering is so important to our Rescue1 program. With the love, care, and patience of foster families, these babies have a chance to heal and thrive.

Without our volunteers and fosters, we simply could not continue our mission.

There are so many ways you can help:
🐾 Feed and care for community cats once a day or once a week

🚗 Transport cats to vet appointments

🏠 Foster

🪤 Learn to trap community cats

🧹 Help once a week with cleaning and caring for the cats at our adoption center

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, this is your sign! Even a few hours of your time can make a tremendous difference in the life of a cat. 💚🐱
