We invite you to have… “A Seat at Lucy’s Table” on March 26 featuring Lucy Greer Cheriogotis. The event will feature a seated luncheon, with a cooking demonstration by Lucy, a Silent Auction and cash bar. We hope you will purchase a ticket. This event raises funds to support our philanthropic programs in Mobile.

Assistance League Mobile is now Heart of Mobile Service League. While our name has changed, our mission to support the Mobile community through our philanthropic programs is the same. We Read, We Clothe, We Comfort.

“Down South in the Delta,” our spring luncheon and fundraiser was enjoyed by all that attended. President Jennifer Knox, left, and chair Nancy Secor and committee put together a great event which included a very interesting and informative presentation by Ben Raines about the Delta and also his discovery of the last slave ship, the Clotilda. Victor Gaston serves an advisor to our chapter. He introduced many of our guests to Caroleene Dobson, (pictured right of Victor). We appreciate the support of our many sponsors and donors. Connie Hudson and Bess Rich supported us as a platinum sponsor through the Mobile County Commission. The Poarch Band of Creek Indians was another platinum sponsor. This successful event will provide financial support for our many programs that support the citizens of Mobile.

The Assistance League of Mobile was featured on Studio 10's "Doing Good" segment. Members Bertha Boatman and LeeAnn Rowland shared information about our chapter and also invited the audience to attend our upcoming fundraiser, "Down South in the Delta" which will feature environmentalist Ben Raines.
