BAMBI NEEDS OUR HELP 🚨

Sweet Bambi is a rescue who desperately needs us right now. 💔🐾

She has already been seen by a veterinarian, but unfortunately she is not doing well at all. Bambi has an abscess, and right now we need help making sure she gets the treatment and care she needs.

This is exactly why Tori’s Treasures exists. Sometimes these babies come to us sick, hurting, and with nowhere else to turn, and I never want money to be the reason we can’t help them.

💙 UPDATE ON OUR BABIES 💙

First, I have some GREAT news! Zeus is doing so much better! 🥹💙 Thank you so much to everyone who donated, shared, prayed, and cared about this sweet boy. Seeing him improve makes every bit of this worth it.

Now we still need help for Billy. 🥺🐾 And I finally have pictures of this sweet boy to share with everyone.

Billy is believed to have glaucoma, and unfortunately his eye has become severely enlarged and painful. He needs to have the eye removed (enucleation) to give him relief. This isn’t just about saving an eye. At this point, it’s about getting Billy out of pain and giving him the quality of life he deserves.

His owner is going through an incredibly difficult time financially and simply cannot afford this surgery on her own. That’s where I’m hoping Tori’s Treasures can step in and help. ❤️

🚨 PLEASE HELP US SAVE ZEUS. THIS IS URGENT. 🚨

I’m asking everyone to please stop for just a second and read about this sweet boy. 💙

Meet Zeus. 🐾

Zeus is only four years old, and he is currently facing another serious urinary blockage involving stones. Anyone who has ever dealt with a blocked male cat knows how quickly this can become life threatening and how expensive emergency treatment can be.

His owner loves him desperately, but financially, she simply cannot do this alone. We need help. Badly.
And Zeus isn’t just her pet.

His owner lives with POTS, and she says Zeus has alerted her when her heart rate has dropped dangerously low while she was sleeping. When she has passed out, he has stayed right beside her. He has been her comfort, companion, and little guardian through some of the hardest moments of her life.

Now Zeus needs someone to fight for him.

We are trying to raise enough money to give his veterinarian every reasonable opportunity to help him. We don’t know yet exactly what that is going to look like or how much it is going to cost, but urinary blockages and stones can become extremely expensive very quickly.

Please, PLEASE donate if you can. $5, $10, $20. It ALL adds up. If you can’t donate, PLEASE share. Sharing costs absolutely nothing and could put Zeus’s story in front of someone who can help us save him.

His owner is also facing the heartbreaking reality that if treatment isn’t financially or medically possible and Zeus is suffering, she may have to make the decision to let him go peacefully. We desperately want to give this four year old boy every chance we possibly can before it comes to that.

He has spent years taking care of his person.

As many of you know, I’m a vet tech, and sometimes we have clients come in who desperately want to help their pets but just don’t have the financial means to cover unexpected medical care.

Right now, I’m trying to help a very sweet boy named Billy. ❤️ I don’t have a picture of him yet, but his owner is coming back to talk with me more about possibly moving forward with surgery, and I’m hoping to get one then.

We are pretty sure Billy has glaucoma, which has caused his eye to become severely enlarged. Unfortunately, he is in constant pain, and at this point he will most likely need an enucleation, meaning the affected eye will need to be surgically removed.

I don’t have an exact estimate yet, but I do know this is not going to be a cheap surgery. What I do know is that Billy is hurting right now, and it isn’t fair for him to have to continue living in pain simply because the money isn’t there.

His owner has been going through some really difficult circumstances in her life and unfortunately just isn’t able to afford the care Billy needs right now. She loves him and wants to help him, so I told her I would see what Tori’s Treasures Foundation for Animals could do to help. 🐾❤️

As of right now, we have $0 raised for Billy.

🐾 DAY 8 — BEBE IS HEARTWORM NEGATIVE!!! ❤️🎉

The results are in and Bebe’s heartworm antigen test was NEGATIVE! 🥹❤️

And we were able to get even more taken care of while she was there!

🐾 ProHeart injection: DONE!
🐾 Rabies vaccine: DONE!
🐾 One very loved Bebe: TAKEN CARE OF! ❤️

But I have to tell y’all about the part that got me the most. 🥹

I haven’t seen Bebe in almost a YEAR. But the second I saw her again, it was like she had never forgotten me.

She still acted like she knew exactly who I was. And maybe I’m just being emotional, but it truly felt like she remembered that I was one of the people who helped save her life. 😭❤️

Moments like that remind me exactly why I do this.

And today was made possible because of YOU. Every $5 donation, every person who gave a little extra, and every single share helped us get Bebe the care she needed.

I promised that when I ask for donations, I’ll show y’all where the money goes and keep everyone updated afterward.

Today Bebe is getting her heartworm test and hopefully her heartworm prevention injection that lasts a full year! 🙌🏼

We would also love to get her rabies vaccine and nails trimmed while we’re there. And this sweet girl desperately needs a new harness and leash. She has had hers for about two years, and they are officially falling apart. 🥹🐾

Leafy Update 🐾💚

The kitten we posted about is now officially named Leafy! 🥹💚

Leafy has been seen, her wound was thoroughly cleaned, and she has been started on antibiotics to help fight off infection. She is now on the road to healing!

🚨 URGENT — KITTEN NEEDS HELP 🚨

I just received a call about a kitten who has what appears to be an abscess, most likely from a bite wound. These wounds can become severely infected very quickly, especially in a tiny kitten, and without treatment the infection can become life-threatening.

I’m trying to get this baby seen as soon as possible. I will most likely be taking the kitten to Semmes Animal Hospital if they are able to see us. If not, I will update everyone with exactly where the kitten is being treated so anyone who wants to help can donate directly to the veterinary hospital.
