Mattie T. Blount High School very own. 💜🤍🐆

Kaidence Shanise Coates, daughter of Sharita Hawkins, Quinton Coates, and step- daughter of Graylin Braxton, is a lavender Azalea Trail Maid from Mattie T. Blount High School. She is a dedicated student and well-rounded participant in academics and the arts. She is a member of the choir and will be part of the 2025-2026 majorette squad, demonstrating her talent and school spirit. Kaidence is actively involved in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and the Mathletes team, and she also participates in the Ladies Academy, showcasing her commitment to leadership and personal growth.

Academically, she takes honors classes and participates in the Bishop dual enrollment program. She is a member of the Rho Kappa National Honor Society, reflecting her academic dedication and excellence.

Kaidence is planning to pursue a career in diagnostic medical sonography and will be attending college to become a certified ultrasound technician.
