The issue isn't whether you have emotions.

The real question is:

Are you managing your emotions... or are your emotions managing you?

Jesus never lived detached from pain.

He saw hurting people and responded with compassion.
He encountered grief and responded with empathy.
He carried heavy burdens and understood what it felt like to be overwhelmed.

That's why we can trust Him with our own struggles.

When we hurt, He understands.
When we grieve, He understands.
When life feels too heavy, He understands.

The message of faith has never been emotional denial.

The message of Jesus is emotional honesty.

You don't have to hide what you feel from the One who already knows.

What's one word that describes what you're carrying right now? Share it in the comments, and let's encourage one another.

Acknowledging your pain is not weakness.

In fact, sometimes the strongest thing you can do
is tell the truth about how you feel.

Jesus did.

When He stood at the tomb of Lazarus and saw the grief of Mary and Martha, the Bible says:

"Jesus wept."

The Savior of the world burst into tears.

Let that encourage you today:

Tears are not a sign that your faith is failing.
Sadness is not proof that God has abandoned you.
And vulnerability is not weakness.

Jesus experienced sorrow.
Jesus experienced grief.
Jesus experienced sadness.

And because He understands our pain,
we never have to walk through it alone.

Have you ever discovered God's presence in the middle of your pain? Share a ❤️ if you have.

Jesus didn't pretend He was okay.

The One who opened blinded eyes, raised the dead, and walked on water looked at His disciples and said:

"My soul is exceedingly sorrowful."

He didn't hide behind clichés.
He didn't mask His pain.
He didn't pretend everything was fine when it wasn't.

He was honest about what He was carrying.

And maybe that's the lesson some of us need today.

Authentic faith isn't pretending you never struggle.

Authentic faith is bringing your real pain to a real Savior.

If Jesus could be honest about His sorrow,
we can be honest about ours too.

What's one word that describes your current season? Share it in the comments.

Jesus was powerful enough to raise the dead.

Yet He was also honest enough to admit He was deeply distressed.

Let that sink in.

Our Savior was both empowered and emotional.

He performed miracles.
He walked on water.
He healed the sick.

And still, in the Garden, He confessed:

"My soul is exceedingly sorrowful."

That's good news for anyone who has ever struggled emotionally.

Because it reminds us that feeling sorrow doesn't mean you're weak.
Feeling overwhelmed doesn't mean you've lost your faith.

Even Jesus experienced deep distress.

So stop believing the lie that strong Christians never struggle.

The question isn't whether you've ever felt sorrow.

The question is: What do you do with it?

If you've ever discovered God's strength in the middle of your struggle, share a 🙌🏾 in the comments.

Sunday, Aimwell was blessed by an outstanding Mental Health Sunday experience!

A heartfelt thank you to Chandra Brown-Stewart for leading such an informative, engaging, and impactful discussion on mental health and wellness. Her knowledge, transparency, and practical guidance helped equip our congregation with tools to care for both mind and spirit.

We are grateful for partners who help us create healthy conversations that strengthen our church and community.

Healthy Christians don't just invest in their theology.

They invest in their healing.

Yes, know what you believe.
Yes, study God's Word.
Yes, grow in your faith.

But don't neglect your emotional well-being along the way.

Healthy Christians engage theology
and embrace therapy.

Because faith and healing were never meant to compete with one another.

God cares about your spirit.
God cares about your mind.
God cares about your heart.

And sometimes one of the strongest things you can do
is ask for help.

Do you agree that faith and mental health can work together?

New fam alert.

Welcome home to theWELL - AimWELL Baptist Church. We believe God connects people to purpose—and we’re grateful you’re here.

Church family, drop a welcome below and let’s commit to praying for our newest members this week.

“…fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.” — Ephesians 2:19 (NKJV)

Pentecost was never just about shouting.

It was about strategy.

God gave the disciples the ability to speak languages they had never learned
because the Gospel was always meant to reach beyond the room.

Jesus told them:
“Go into all nations.”

But how can you reach people
if you can’t speak to them in a way they understand?

So the Holy Spirit empowered them
to communicate across cultures, backgrounds, and barriers.

And maybe that’s still the assignment today.

Not just to make noise in church—
but to speak life to people in language they can receive.

The question is:

Can the people around you understand the Gospel through the way you live, speak, and love?

If you’re committed to sharing Jesus beyond your comfort zone,
type “SEND ME” in the comments.

When the Holy Spirit filled the room,
they didn’t come out polished.

They came out staggering.

So overwhelmed by the presence of God
that people on the outside thought they were drunk.

But they weren’t drunk on Hennessy.
They were filled with Holy Spirit power.

And maybe that’s the problem today—

We’ve become more comfortable with polished church
than powerful church.

God didn’t fill them so they could sit quietly in a room.
He filled them so they could fulfill His purpose
and carry the Gospel to the nations.

So here’s the question:

Can people tell you’ve been with God?

If you’re praying for fresh fire and bold faith,
type “FILL ME AGAIN” in the comments.
