**USE YOUR VOICE.**

You can spend so much time trying to sound like somebody else that you forget **God gave you your own voice for a reason.**

Pastor Trey called it **ā€œspiritually lip syncing.ā€** šŸ˜‚

Using somebody elseā€™s plan.
Somebody elseā€™s purpose.
Somebody elseā€™s voice.

All because youā€™re looking for validation.

But hereā€™s the danger: **when you live for somebody elseā€™s validation, you violate your own voice.**

You donā€™t need their voice to fulfill your purpose.
You donā€™t need their platform to make an impact.
You donā€™t need a Grammy to prove your voice matters. šŸ˜‚

**God gave you grace for YOUR voice.**

So stop trying to be an imitation when God called you to be an original.

**Use your voice. Use your own voice.**

**I WISH SATAN WOULD.**

Jesus walked into the synagogue and made it clear: **this is My jurisdiction.**

The word *authority* in the text speaks of **jurisdictional power**ā€”the right and power to exercise control.

So when Satan tried to show up and take over the sermon, Jesus wasnā€™t having it. šŸ˜‚

And thatā€™s the reminder for every preacher and every believer:

**The authority doesnā€™t come from the person standing in the pulpit. It comes from the One who has all authority.**

Pastor Trey put it plainly: every time he stands before the people, he has to lean on an authority **greater than himself.**

Thatā€™s why the Word still has power.
Thatā€™s why darkness has to move.
Thatā€™s why the enemy doesnā€™t get the final say.

**The sanctuary belongs to Jesus. The authority belongs to Jesus. And the power belongs to Jesus.**

**GOD CANā€™T BLESS WHO YOU PRETEND TO BE.**

Whew. That one will preach all by itself.

We live in a world that can make validation feel more important than authenticity. Sometimes weā€™d rather have people approve of us than have the courage to become who God created us to be.

But Jesus didnā€™t sound like everybody else.

**And because He sounded like Himself, people were blessed.**

You were made different **so you could make a difference.**

Your distinct voice matters.
Your unique story matters.
Your God-given purpose matters.

Because hereā€™s the warning:

**When you refuse to be distinct, your purpose becomes extinct.**

Stop trying to sound like everybody else. Stop shrinking what makes you different just to fit in.

**Be who God called you to be.**

Whatā€™s one thing that makes you *distinct*? Tell us in the comments. Somebody may need what only your voice can deliver.

**STOP TREATING TEXT MESSAGES LIKE AMBER ALERTS. šŸ˜‚šŸ“±**

Pastor Trey said what some of us probably needed to hear:

**ā€œIf you canā€™t be in church with your phone, maybe for that hour and a half, leave it in the car.ā€** šŸ˜‚

Because why are we responding to every *ding, buzz, and vibration* like Gotham City just called Batman?

Not every text needs an immediate response.

Especially when youā€™ve made the time to be in the presence of God.

Think about it: after everything God brought you through this week, you finally made it to churchā€¦ and now youā€™re texting? šŸ‘€

**Put the phone down. Lift your hands up. Give God your attention.**

Your notifications can wait.

**The God who kept you all week deserves your full attention for the next 90 minutes.**

Be honest: **Could you leave your phone in the car for church?** šŸ˜‚šŸ“±šŸ‘‡šŸ¾
