🚨 DIP FOOD BANK DISTRIBUTION IS TOMORROW (SATURDAY 9/5) MORNING! 🚨

Please help us spread the word! If you know a neighbor, friend, or family member who needs a food box, please invite them to come out tomorrow.

We need a big crew tomorrow morning to load up the trailer and hand out boxes to our community.

🚛 Saturday Volunteer Schedule (September 5th):
🔹 7:00 AM: Loading the trailer @ Fulton Road Baptist Church (1800 Dauphin Island Pkwy)
🔹 8:00 AM: Volunteer arrival & setup @ Riverside Baptist Church (3130 Dauphin Island Pkwy)

🗓️ Public Distribution Details:
✅ Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (or until all food is distributed)
✅ Location: Riverside Baptist Church (3130 Dauphin Island Pkwy)

📢 DIP FOOD BANK IS THIS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5th! 📢

Help us spread the word to any friends, family, or neighbors who may need food boxes this week!

We are gearing up for a big distribution week and need plenty of hands to make it happen.

⚠️ URGENT NEED: We especially need volunteers to help load and unload food. Shifts are only 30–45 minutes! ⚠️📦

Our Volunteer Schedule:
🔹 Thursday (9/3): Unloading trucks at Riverside Baptist starting at 9:30 AM.
🔹 Friday (9/4): Unloading, packing, & organizing at Fulton Road Baptist (8:00 AM) AND Packing at Riverside Baptist (9:30 AM).
🔹 Saturday (9/5): Trailer loading at Fulton Road Baptist (7:00 AM) AND Distribution setup at Riverside Baptist (8:00 AM).

📌 Public Distribution Details:
✅ Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM (or until all food is distributed)
✅ Location: Riverside Baptist Church (3130 Dauphin Island Pkwy)

Great Volunteer Opportunity!

⚠️ Tomorrow's previously announced DRCR Education Meeting has been moved to September 16th! ⚠️

Back-to-school season is here, and Dog River Clearwater Revival is heading back to class! We NEED VOLUNTEERS to visit local 3rd-grade classrooms and inspire our next generation of river stewards.

What You'll Do:
Deliver a fun, 45-minute presentation on local water quality, native plants, and wildlife.

Easy & Stress-Free:
No heavy lifting required, and smart board/tech use is entirely optional; present however you feel most comfortable!

All supplies are provided and fit in a backpack!
No teaching experience needed. Just a passion for Dog River!

📢 WE BROKE TWO MORE RECORDS! 📢

The Lord continues to open doors, and we are absolutely blown away by the growth and strength of our community! Because of your incredible support, our August food distribution was a historic milestone for the DIP Food Bank.

We handed out a record-breaking 196 boxes of food, making this our highest regular monthly distribution!

Through your amazing generosity, we served 551 neighbors, including a record-shattering 36 veterans—the highest number of veterans we have ever been honored to serve in a single month! 🎖️❤️

📦 Our August Impact Breakdown:
👶 157 children (under 18)
👵 175 seniors (over 60)
🎖️ 36 veterans (New All-Time Record!)

To every single volunteer who braved the insane summer heat, and everyone who prayed, shared, and donated—thank you! We truly could not do this without you.
