We really missed Presley at our show, but for an amazing reason - she was celebrating a loved one’s 90th birthday!

How incredible is that?!

Presley has been working so hard on her horsemanship skills, and I can’t wait to see all the progress and fun this year brings for her.

Her smile is contagious!

Bristol and her horse Nova weren’t able to attend our show, but for an admirableļæ¼ reason!

Bristol put her horse’s well-being above her own desires.

Concerned about Nova’s soundness, she made the thoughtful, selfless decision to sit this one out and prioritize her horse’s safety.

This is Bristol’s first year, and I’m really enjoying getting to know both her and Nova.

It’s been amazing to see them grow together and form such a strong partnership.

Summer and her horse, Daisy, had an outstanding show experience this past Saturday!

She set clear goals for herself - and accomplished every single one.

Whether in the show ring or out, Summer’s friendly smile is always guaranteed to brighten your day!

Doug isn’t a member, but he somehow ended up with the most thankless job imaginable - manning the gate.

No matter what else is going on, Doug gravitates toward that gate like it’s calling his name.

He makes sure every kid gets in… and that no one escapes.

He’s basically a legend in four counties, quietly doing his thing while staying wonderfully anonymous in the others.

If you ever find a Gate Hero like Doug, treasure them.

Just know… you can’t have ours.

Thank you, Doug, for everything you do - you truly keep the chaos contained!

They may not be official members anymore, but these two incredible ladies have been with me since the early 2000s - the very beginning of my 4-H horsemanship journey.

They’ve been the backbone behind the scenes - helping run shows and making sure everything goes smoothly.

They will never seek recognition, and I’m sure I’ve embarrassed them along the way, but I am so grateful for them.

Thank you Ashley and Dallis for handling all the important office work, announcing, and - let’s be honest - that’s just the tip of the iceberg of what it takes to run a show. You do beyond all of that!

I could not do this without you!

I’ll be bragging on our members all week - just a heads up. šŸ’ā€ā™€ļø

I could not be more proud of Martina and Andi for stepping into the arena and giving it their all.

Andi is Martina’s Green Horse Project and has only had maybe 60 days under saddle as a 2-year-old.

Martina kept a smile on her face, took those deep breaths, and together they absolutely rocked their first show!

Green Horse is a division that holds a special place in my heart!
