Moapa Christian Church Moapa Christian Church was founded in 1957 by Pastor Harry and Lily Reimer. They met with a few Paiute Indians under the shade of an old mesquite tree.

Their hearts were touched by the people who lived and farmed in the Muddy River Valley.

Thank you, Chaplain Jody, for teaching the children this morning so I could preach. You are an angel.

Pastor/Chaplain Della preached a sermon contrasting the blessed/godly lives of believers verses the ungodly/dangerous lives of unbelievers according to Psalm 1:1-6.

We also lift up all the families who may have been involved with the death of young man early this morning. Father may this tragedy bring them to know you as their savior in Jesus name.

1Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

2But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.

3He shall be like a tree
planted by the rivers of water,
that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

4The ungodly are not so,
but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

5Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Please pray for Moapa. Thank you.

Fellowship after church is important. We love the time together because we learn how to pray for each other.

42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.

The children blessed me today. They lined up at the back of the church and waited until I was ready to walk them over to the classroom.

The children learned why and how David took down Goliath. David trusted God and knew his help comes from the Lord whereas the army of Israel lacked the faith and functioned in fear. It makes a difference who you trust.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Moapa Christian Church is a family of strong believers who love people.

Thank you to the faithful ones who understand assembling ourselves together to bring glory to our Savior.

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25
