Raised six kittens. Ready for a less demanding roommate situation. Spirit is still a youngster herself, but she’s already shown what a gentle, caring mama she can be. She’s very affectionate, tender with her babies, and interested in meeting new people. Now it’s her turn to be fussed over. She’s looking for a home where she can enjoy being someone’s beloved cat, with plenty of affection and significantly fewer parenting responsibilities. Come meet Spirit. The kittens are adorable, but their mom deserves a little attention, too.

My name is Tinker and I can run really, really fast but prefer to be cuddled up in a human's lap. I am a young tiny black and white boy and I've been told I look like a Papillon. My coat is very thick, which makes me look scruffy, in a good way. My shelter mom carries me around like a baby while she does shelter tasks. I sometimes get to hang out in the VIP area, which is called the "Cat Room". I am not much of a yappy dog and would make a great addition to any home that has time to show me love.

Rye, a young female tuxedo adult with a shy disposition. She is social toward human visitors but was relinquished to the shelter because she did not get along with the family dog. Rye is still adjusting to shelter life but is not showing signs of getting along with other cats. She is very petite and would be a great addition to any lap needing warmth during the upcoming fall nights. At her young age, little Rye has lived in a couple of homes where things didn't work out but is still hoping for that perfect family. Maybe that is you?

Folks, I lost my way but found another path to this cool shelter. I might be little but I am strong and brave. My name is Checkers and I am a 10 week old female tuxedo kitten with fine hair that sticks up everywhere. The adult shelter cats are pretty nice to me but remind me when I am being pushy. That's okay; I guess I deserve it when it happens. I learn all sorts of adult cat behaviors every day and really like the human visitors.

My name is Gracie and I am a four-year-old cattle dog mix. I know some basic commands, enjoy walking on a leash (still learning), and react well to a good whistle or come command. I keep an eye on Frankie because she is my responsibility. She has such a big personality but I guess there is always "that dog" that gets a big laugh for silly things. Oh, my favorite thing is hugging my shelter mom. That is the best feeling ever.

Hi folks, my name is Frankie and I am around two years old. I am mostly cattle dog mixed with a good dose of fluff. Gracie and I came to the Shelter after we were separated from our owner. I don't mind too much because the folks here are really nice. I love getting scratches and will even bump Gracie aside to get even more. She doesn't mind and I always give her kisses afterwards. Walking on a leash is somewhat new, but I always stay close to the volunteers that take me out. Staying close is in my nature, plus I do love being around humans.

Timber is a male adult tuxedo cat with handsome markings. He is very friendly with visitors and loves wet food. Timber has been an outdoor cat but is comfortable living indoors. He has a fun personality and seems very playful. This big boy will transition easily, given how readily he adjusted to the shelter living.

The Toy Drive is so important and below is a photo showing proof of that. Blue came to the shelter on the first week of May. He was found running around Moab in a semi feral state. Over the months he has learned to socialize with other dogs through play. Blue has become very soft with human interaction by ball play and has fallen in love with laying in shelter staff’s lap while chewing on stuff animals. He has now graduated to office dog which is such a big accomplishment. He just received a bath and is seen taking a nap with toys nearby.

Do you need a dog that you could almost put in your pocket? A dog that will cuddle into your chest with adoring eyes that say, "I love you." Dinky checks the list and is ready to be your bestie. He is a one-year-old Papillon mix that will melt your heart. Dinky loves to take car rides, cuddle, and craves wet food when given the chance. He has not shown signs of being a barker and is great with cats.
