Cousins' blanket is so soft, must try to nurse it.

We're down to just the cleft baby for a few more weeks. His big healthy siblings were able to go back to their original rescue and join the rest of the litter.

Little clefty boy seems to be doing really well. He's smaller than his two chonky siblings but just as active. I'm just the temporary home for these three until they are old enough to eat on their own and can rejoin their original rescue. The wonderful rescue who said yes to saving this brave boy is All Paws Count They are going to need lots of support once he's old enough for surgery.

Little cleft boy is actually doing really well. He's fairly active and moves around quite a bit. So very different from our baby Wonky, who didn't really move for the first three weeks of her life.

In totally typical fashion, the day the kittens left four 3 day old puppies arrived. A rescue that I work with a lot contacted me about a litter of puppies that weren't doing well. Two had already passed and two more were very weak and not doing well. I, of course offered to help and late that night four puppies made the drive to me. Immediately, I knew something was wrong with two of the puppies. Within moments I knew the culprit. Unbelievably, two cleft palate puppies had just found me. Unfortunately the weakest of the pups passed the next day. Everyone is battling diarrhea but seem to be doing well otherwise. So again I have a cleft baby occupying the incubator 🤯 The other two siblings are thick potatoes with big voices.

The three kittens finally left to their new homes today. These babies grew from scared little ballet of fluff into wild adolescents. Excited for them to finally be moving on to their new lives.
