I think the universe is hinting at my new calling 🫣 We have a new 1 day old cleft baby in the house. He was born yesterday, and today, his wonderful breeder reached out to me for help. We had met each other previously, and she remembered I was a sucker for cleft babies. Like all cleft babies, the odds are stacked against him, so now we hold our breath and count each hour as a win.

The votes are in. Wonky says Grandma's house is the best. When I picked her up, she came up to me to say hi, then went back to following Grandma to see what fun thing they were up to next. It's so good for our Wonky girl to get out of the comfort zone of my house and experience something new.

Morning hike for Wonky. She actually did much better this time and didn't start the chirp whining until halfway back. She really is a good walker. I'm not sure why she has to tell me all about how much she wants to hurry up and get back to the truck.
