The Gate Food Pantry and Free Meal Our last pantry will be December 8th. We were blessed serving the community. Heritage Word of Life Church will be operating the pantry. No ID required!

Permanently closed.

Open 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 5-7 pm starting January 13th. Weekly visits encouraged. Selection varies weekly and usually includes meat, dairy and some fresh produce!

50 seniors enjoyed delicious meals on Tuesday and Wednesday this week! We would like to add another day but need a regular home cook to commit weekly to the meal. Also, we would appreciate help with purchases for our weekly use of styrofoam take out containers. Sam's Club has the 3 compartment ones we use weekly. They have a dessert size, too. We use new plastic bags to place our food in and you can purchase those at Sam's. Thanks for all you do to help your neighbors in Mitchellville!

Vine Ministries offers a Food Pantry along with After-school Programs for kids through 12th Grade.

We're providing a full Thanksgiving meal to our seniors on November 24th. We will need help from 10-12 with packing food...
