As Helping with Horsepower closes, a new door opens.
Starting in August 2026 riders are encouraged to continue their lessons and at Milestone Ranch LLC psalm 37 in Letcher, SD. We are so proud and grateful for the opportunity to be part of so many lives and wish all the best of luck in their growth and wellness through horses. **Welcome to Milestone Ranch and our NEW Therapeutic Riding & Adaptive Horsemanship program!**
We are excited to share that the therapeutic riding program formerly operated through Helping With Horsepower (at Reclamation Ranch in Mitchell) will be starting a new fresh adventure here at **Milestone Ranch, LLC**, located just north of Letcher SD.
This program has been a meaningful part of our community, and we are honored to take the reins to serving current riders, families, volunteers, and new students who are interested in joining.
At Milestone Ranch, our goal is to provide a safe, encouraging, horse-centered environment where riders can grow in confidence, strength, communication, independence, and connection. We believe every rider deserves to feel welcome, supported, and valued.
For our existing students and families, we want you to know that you are important to us. We understand that new things can bring questions, and we are committed to making this change as smooth and positive as possible. Instructors Allison and Gabrielle will continue to lead our programs, they bring a lot of value to the ranch. Our hope is to continue building on the heart of the program while providing a strong future for therapeutic and adaptive horsemanship in our community.
For new students and families, we warmly welcome you to learn more about the program. Whether you are looking for therapeutic riding, adaptive horsemanship, confidence building, connection with horses, or a supportive place to grow, we would love to visit with you.
As the program moves forward under Milestone Ranch, LLC, we will continue offering fee-based services while also working to provide scholarship opportunities when funds are available. Community advertising sponsorships may help support rider scholarships, horse care, equipment, safety needs, and program expenses.
We are aiming to be up and fully running by the 2nd week of August!
We are grateful for the foundation Helping With Horsepower has built, and we look forward to carrying this program into its next chapter at Milestone Ranch.
