SPECIAL BUSINESS MEETING

Per Article 3, Section 2 of the Hoosier Hills Ham Club Bylaws, this posting is to serve notice to all members that a special business meeting will be held on October 20th at 6:00pm at the clubhouse, located at 1508 Rariden Hill Rd, Mitchell, IN.

The purpose of this meeting will be to review and vote upon a proposed expenditure of $7,100 to install drainage by and waterproof the East side (back) foundation of the building to remedy water pe*******on into the building. A full scope of the proposed work will be available at the meeting.

The Lawrence County fox hunt was October 17th with five hunting teams. Our fox was Mike KF9NP. He hid at the freedom cemetery on the south side of Mitchell.

Tim Wray KB9SNL came in with 56 minutes and 12.6 miles

Brandon Ambrose KD9OLS cane at 1 hour 5 minutes and 17.5 miles

Ray Stevens with assistant Lauren Hunter had a double equipment failure with his HT failing and then new batteries in his sniffer also failing. He had to use limited power until got to a place to buy batteries. They came in at 1 hour and 30 minutes with 21.9 miles

Calvin Mitcham KE8ICE came in at 1 hour 4 minutes with 16.1 miles

Deborah KE9EWO did not finish

This makes Tim our winner and the fox on Nov 21.
