Don't forget about this safety training TONIGHT (Tuesday, May 2nd) at 5:30pm!

Youth who plan to show livestock MUST complete at least one Youth Livestock Literacy Event and youth showing horse MUST complete at least one Youth Horse Literacy event...this counts as BOTH!

On Tuesday, May 2nd at 5:30pm Davison County will be hosting a Livestock Trailer Safety with the South Dakota Highway Patrol at the fairgrounds (weather permitting, it will be held in the parking lot). This workshop will qualify as BOTH Youth Livestock Literacy and Youth Horse Literacy! All are welcome, no pre-registration required!

As a reminder, youth showing livestock (sheep, beef, dairy, goats, swine, poultry, rabbit) are required to participate in at least 1 YLL event! Youth showing horse are required to participate in at least 1 YHL event! (This counts as both!)

GOOD LUCK to these 4-H members representing Davison and Hanson Counties this weekend at State Shoot! Due to the storms this past year destroying their location to practice, we also have some members from McCook County who have practiced with the Hanson members to prepare for state! We wish them luck as well!

A special thank you to the coaches who spent countless hours helping our youth learn new skills and improve throughout the year! We couldn't do it without you!
