The Harrison County Food Pantry will hold its annual Easter Program on Wednesday April 1st from 10 AM to 2pm.at community of Christ Church, 2102 Liberty Ave, Missouri Valley. Each registered family will receive a food basket with the supply’s for a nice Easter dinner. The clothing exchange will also be open. If you did not receive a letter and would like to register for a basket please call the pantry Tuesday or Friday 9-12 , 7126422598 , and I will reserve a basket for your family. Or you can call 4026510646. Harrison county residents only. Please remember, this voucher is only good on Wednesday, April 1st. Wishing everyone a Blessed Easter.

The food pantry will be closed Friday, Feb 27th. We will be open again on Tues.

The food pantry and clothing exchange are closed today due to the weather. Please do not leave items outside because no one is there to take them in. We will be open next week for our regular hours.

The food pantry needs egg cartons. We have some generous people who have been donating eggs to us and we like to be able to provide them with cartons. Drop them off any Tues or Friday 9-12 at 2102 liberty Ave next to Community f Christ Church.

On December 13th the Food Pantry hosted their annual Christmas program and 165 families recieved a Christmas dinner basket plus many other of Melba’s special surprises. The pantry also received $2571 in donations. Special thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this possible. Wishing everyone a Blessed Christmas and Good Health and Happiness in the coming year.

Thank you to everyone who helped fill the food pantry shelves. Every donation was greatly appreciated. We are now working on organizing our Christmas dinner project that will take place on December 13th. 10-2. Each registered family is given the makings for a nice Christmas dinner. Letters have been sent so please return your voucher to reserve a dinner basket as soon as possible. If you didn’t receive a letter and would like to be included you can call the pantry at 7126422598. Tuesday or Friday 9-12 or stop in during those hours and get a voucher. This is open to any Harrison County resident. Melba is also busy arranging many surprises to help make everyone’s Christmas a little brighter. Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas. 🦃🎅🏻😇⛄️

The Harrison county Food Pantry has been extremely busy these last few months. The rise in groceries prices is affecting everyone these days. Combine that with the possibility of no food stamps in November and it has the makings for a grim Holiday season. With that in mind please keep the food pantry in your thoughts during the coming Holidays. We are still planning to do our annual Christmas project and will need donations to help make it possible again this year. Your donations will enable us to continue helping those in our county struggling thru these difficult uncertain times. Donations can be sent to Box 25, Missouri Valley, Iowa 51555. Our hours are 9-12 Tuesday and Friday. 2120 liberty Ave. 🎃🦃 🎅🏻
