140 of our Elkins Excel Club members passed out American flags yesterday in the Ft .Bend County Fair Parade. They represented our club with perfection. ⛳ Supporting Those Who Serve—and Building a Stronger Community! 👮‍♂️💙

The Exchange Club of Missouri City was proud to support the Missouri City Police Officers Association at its annual golf tournament yesterday at Quail Valley Golf Club!

In addition to sponsoring the event, roughly a dozen Exchange Club members hit the course and joined in the fun while supporting the MCPOA’s fundraising efforts—including the putting contest and ball drop.

The Missouri City Police Department plays an important role in making our community a safe and welcoming place to live, work, raise a family, and do business. But strong communities are built on more than public safety alone—they are built through relationships, mutual support, and people and organizations working together for the good of their neighbors.

That’s a mission that closely aligns with the Exchange Club of Missouri City. Through service, community involvement, and partnerships with organizations like the MCPOA, we strive to do our part to strengthen the community we all call home.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to stand behind the men and women of the Missouri City Police Department and to support the MCPOA in the work it does for its members and our community.

Last Thursday we gathered to recognize the 25th anniversary of September 11. Like many others, I find it hard to believe that 25 years have passed since that day. Over the past week or so, I have myself in several conversations about where we were on September 11, 2001, what we remember, and the lasting impact those events have had on all of us.

Thursday's luncheon was a fitting tribute to those who lost their lives that day—those simply going about their daily lives, as well as the first responders and others who put themselves in harm’s way to serve those in need.

Our featured speaker was Capt. Jason Cortell, an Ambassador with Tunnel to Towers. He spoke about Tunnel to Towers mission to do good and ensure we never forget September 11. As part of our 26/27 Fund budget, we made a $250 contribution to Tunnel to Towers.

A special Thanks to Elissa Wedemeyer and her team for helping to make the luncheon such a meaningful commemoration.
