Brothers and Friends of VFW Post 4010, welcome to the 25th Anniversary of the second day in infamy, the day the world, our country, was visibly attacked.
We, our Post, was hosted by the Sewa Day of Celebration organization, honoring unity, reflection and gratitude. We honor the resilience and acknowledge the sacrifices of the ones who went on and the families left behind.
Thank you, Dr. Luca and Mr. Raj, and the members and volunteers present today.
Also many thanks to Ms. Carol McCutcheon, Sugarland Mayor, Jaxon Heard, Missouri City Deputy Chief. Jonathan Subrsula, Missouri City Deputy Fire Chief, Judge Christian Becerra, Fort Bend District. Our good Friend, Judge Patel.
Keynote speaker, Sujan Shah, Certified Meditation Health Teacher. And last, our own, Jorge Ortiz, USMC, GWOT medal, who gave us his reflections and insights into the events of this day, 25 years ago.
All in all, a great day of togetherness and compassion.

Labor Day festivities:Brothers and Friends, it’s time to be thankful to celebrate all the working people of this great country. We all get together to just have an extra day of rest and spend it with our Families and friends, good food and refreshments.

Our beautiful and lovely volunteers from the Starring Humanity/ American Pakistani Women Dedicated to Serving Through Volunteerism, hosting our Second Annual 4th of July luncheon at
our VFW #4010 Post. We had great food and great company.
Our highlight of the event was Our Commander, our Senior Vice and our Chaplain were interviewed by our guest Judges, who elicited our insights during our Service and campaigns.
A memorable experience and one I hope we will continue with Ms. Maryum Khan and her Ladies.
