Did you know that deafblindness is the lowest incidence of disabilities? There are about 10,000 school age children in the United States that are identified as DeafBlind. Texas has the 2nd highest population of DeafBlind students in the US. It is critical for these children to have Qualified Personnel such as Teachers of the DeafBlind and Interveners working with these children for them to reach their full potential! It has been DBMAT’s vision since 2006 to “do our part”. Christian’s golf tournament has offered scholarships for our Texas Interveners to learn about deafblindness by attending accredited Universities. We are extremely grateful to our sponsors and golfers! We look forward to this day each year and look forward to seeing all of you. I have a request this year. Please be my voice to encourage other golfers to join us. We are hoping to have our best year ever in 2025!! Thank you! Melanie and Gary (Christian’s Mom and Dad) and Landon(Christian’s brother)

All the proceeds raised from this event go directly toward deafblind intervener scholarships. Deafblind Interveners are trained professionals who work one-on-one with individuals who are deafblind so they can effectively participate in their environment and curriculum.

This is a great opportunity to support a great cause and network with some awesome people!
