There’s something so beautiful about watching our community wall slowly fill with small pieces of each of you. ❤️
We are just one month away from having our doors open for an entire year, and when we stop to think about the stories, testimonies, struggles, blessings, milestones, accomplishments, and everyday tribulations we’ve had the privilege of being a part of in just one year, it truly feels like a miracle.
We are so incredibly grateful for this community. We hope you know just how much you are a part of what makes this place what it is.
If you haven’t already, take a moment to stop by our community wall and look at the little pieces of life that surround you. Your neighbors. Your community. Real people walking through real things, celebrating real victories, and reminding one another that none of us are doing this alone.
And if you haven’t added your own piece yet, we’d love for you to.
Take a photo. Write something you’re grateful for. Leave an encouraging note for a stranger. Share a little piece of your story.
Little by little, our community wall grows and so do the hearts of our neighbors as we’re reminded that we really are in this together. 🫂
Thank you for being a part of our story. We’re so grateful to be a part of yours.

Let’s be real, times are hard, and for a lot of our neighbors, they aren’t getting any easier.
We see it, we hear you, and we’re right here in these trenches with you.
We are a community. We are a village, and the truth is, we all need that village.
September is Mental Health Awareness Month, and this one sits especially close to our hearts. Mental health does not discriminate. It doesn’t care about your social status, your financial circumstances, your background, or where you come from. It can affect any of us, at any time.
So this month, we want to do something simple together: leave a little more kindness behind in our community.
Starting this month, you can write an anonymous note of encouragement at checkout for someone else to read on our community bulletin board, and we’ll give you 10% OFF your purchase as a little thank-you for spreading some kindness.
It can be as simple as:
“You are doing better than you think.”
“You matter.”
“Keep going.”
Or it can be more. Whatever you need to say. Whatever you feel someone else may need to hear. 🫂
You never know who might walk through our doors that day carrying something heavy and find a few words that remind them they aren’t alone. Come leave a little hope behind at The Bridge because sometimes the smallest act of kindness can make the biggest difference, and we’re committed to filling every gap we can. Including the ones we’ve had to crawl out of ourselves. ❤

You'll notice as you walk in, on our community wall, is a brand new bulletin board! In our continued efforts to keep our community members connected, we wanted a place where folks could look for neighboring resources, events and other updates around the community.
Feel free to add your own flyers to update neighbors of our local happenings 🤩

Boy, are we excited for the fresh start that September brings. For so many of us, this month marks a new rhythm as kids head back to school, parents settle into new work routines, and life finds a new stride.
In an effort to give ourselves a little reset before we officially launch our Winter Coat Program (stay tuned for those details!), we’re putting ALL appliances, books, and pants 50% OFF for the entire month of September!
And, we’re officially accepting donations again! We’re back to our usual donation intake hours of 12-3pm on all open days.
As always, we kindly ask that you please do not leave donations on the ground outside our shop. We cannot guarantee that items will remain protected from weather or damage before we’re able to get to them.
(This does not include donations placed directly inside our outdoor 24/7 pantry).
Our highest-priority donation needs for the store right now include:
-ALL size outerwear
-Men’s clothing & shoes
-Seasonal indoor & outdoor items
-Electronics
-Jewelry & accessories
-Arts & crafts
-Antiques & unique hard goods
And of course, we are ALWAYS accepting donations for our pantry and emergency cabinet.
Please never hesitate to reach out if you have something you’d like to donate to the pantry or emergency cabinet or if you or someone you know has a need that we may be able to help with.
We pray everyone has a fresh start, a new season, and another month of bridging the gap between what someone has and what someone else may need. 🤎

Farewell, Jeanna ❤️

We wanted to take a moment to give a proper farewell, and a whole lot of love, to a special part of our Bridge family, our wonderful volunteer, Jeanna!

In just a couple of weeks, Jeanna will be making the big move to Washington, and while we are certainly going to miss having her around the shop, we are so excited for this next chapter and all the adventures ahead of her.

Jeanna may be moving away, but she will always have a place here in our Bridge family. ❤ We are so grateful for all she has done for our community, the kindness she has shared, and the time she has given to help make a difference.

We have no doubt she will continue doing wonderful things wherever life takes her next!!

So here's to one last final hoorah for Jeanna before she heads off on her next big adventure! 🥹❤

Our emergency cabinet, which provides free hygiene products, toiletries, and household essentials to neighbors in need, is starting to run low.

If you’re clearing out cupboards or happen to have a few extras, we know some neighbors who could truly use and greatly appreciate them. ❤

Every donation, big or small, helps us continue making sure these everyday necessities are available to those who need them most. Thank you for always helping us take care of one another, neighbors.

Donations can be dropped off at our shop during open hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday 11a-5p & Friday 11-2p sometimes 4:30p), at 2412 River Rd Suite B.
