Thank you Ipswich High School for an epic week!! It was truly a week well spent with many laughs and memories shared that will be remembered by all💕 The rest of the week was spent exploring the park, meeting with Rick McIntyre and Taylor Rabe to discuss all things wolves, finding a carcass from the previous year that a wolf killed, and exploring an incredible hike to trout lake🐺🐟🌲

Ipswich had another epic day featuring bison ID as part of the Home on the Range study. 🕺🏻Students used scopes to determine the demographics of the herd and telemetry to find any potential collared bison. 🦬 As part of the study, f***l samples are also to be collected and they had a blast doing just so. 🎉 We also got to see sleeping wolves thanks to Ellie from the park wolf team!🐺

We had the best time adventuring in Yellowstone National Park with Gallatin High this week. Whether it was digging snow pits, practicing tree identification, or cooking dinner, these students brought their curiosity and enthusiasm! We were lucky to be joined by Gallatin High School this week, hailing from Bozeman, MT. They had the opportunity to meet with several park biologist and experts, including Rick McIntyre, Taylor Rabe, and Lauren McGarvey. Students got to learn more about the wildlife research being conducted in the park, and pose questions related to future career paths.
