🙏 “When I run, I feel His pleasure” 🙏
In the classic 1981 film Chariots of Fire, Eric Liddell wrestles with the tension between his ministry responsibilities and embracing his God-given gift of speed. He tells his sister, “I believe God made me for a purpose, but He also made me fast. And when I run, I feel His pleasure.”
This powerful moment reminds us that God calls us not only to purpose but also to joy in using the gifts He’s given us.
As we step into the new year of 2025, let’s take a moment to lift up our Missoula area ministers in prayer. These men and women shoulder significant responsibilities, but they, too, need encouragement, support, and moments of joy in their calling.
✨ Lord, bring the necessary support to our ministers so that they may “run” in their ministries, feel Your pleasure, and be refueled by Your Spirit. Amen. ✨
