We are deeply grateful to the Montana Synod Hunger Fund for their generous $2,000 grant in support of MIC’s Community of Belonging program. This funding will help us continue creating meaningful opportunities for connection, shared meals, and relationship-building across our community.

MIC's Community of Belonging is rooted in connection, hospitality, and relationship, creating regular opportunities for people to gather, share meals, build meaningful relationships, and experience a sense of belonging. Through this support, we can continue fostering spaces where people feel welcomed, connected, and part of community.

We are deeply thankful to the Montana Synod Hunger Fund for recognizing the importance of this work and investing in stronger, more connected communities. Thank you for your partnership and support of Community of Belonging!

Save the Date: MIC PaddleHeads Night!

We’re excited to share that MIC will be participating in a PaddleHeads Community Night later this summer! Join us for a fun evening at the ballpark while supporting the work of Missoula Interfaith Collaborative and the programs that help build connection, belonging, and stability across our community.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the Missoula PaddleHeads for their continued support of local nonprofits and community organizations. Their commitment to giving back helps strengthen the work of so many groups making a difference in Missoula. 💙

When tickets are purchased through our special MIC link, a portion of proceeds will go directly back to support MIC programs and the work happening across our community. You can purchase tickets for yourself or consider purchasing tickets for one of the families or participants in our programs so they can enjoy a fun night of baseball this summer.

There is no cost to attend and no minimum gift required — just an invitation to come, celebrate community, and support MIC’s mission.

Please help us give a warm welcome to Sean McGirr, the newest member of the MIC team! Sean serves as our Operations & Bookkeeping Support and originally joined MIC as a Get It Done Crew Leader. We’re excited to have him as part of the team and grateful for the skills, experience, and heart for community he brings to MIC.

Here’s a little more about Sean, in his own words

"I grew up in Wise River, MT, moved to Grand Rapids Michigan for high school, came back to Missoula in 1998 for college and have lived here ever since. My main work history was with the Wingate Hotel as their Maintenance Engineer, onXmaps as their Logistics Manager, and at Deals on Wheels as their Operations Manager. I'm married, no children of my own, but my wife came with 3 and we are now onto 4 grandkids.
I enjoy the outdoors: paddle boarding, camping, exploring the mountains and lakes.
I have two cats, Cosmo and Tiara.

I am the Operations and Bookkeeping Support for MIC, but did start out as a Get It Done crew leader. I was drawn to MIC for the mission and the community building. I'm feel blessed for this opportunity as the people here are amazing, and I love what I get to do."

Welcome Sean!! We are so glad that you are here.
