Humane Society of Western Montana HOPE Foster Program Fostering is one of the most rewarding ways you can help the animals at the Humane Society of Western Montana!

This page is meant to be a resource for HSWM foster families and a showcase for the HSWM animals currently in foster care. Over 100 dedicated, volunteer foster families help the Humane Society care for twenty percent of the 1000+ pets we match with new families each year. Most of these pets are unweaned or underage kittens or puppies needing a few weeks of TLC and time to grow before being adopted. These pets take the HOPE (Helping Our Pets Excel) Journey!
