One Dads Mission

One Dads Mission Join and follow the mission to help families! One Dad’s Mission is an extraordinary journey that embodies the spirit of resilience, gratitude, and giving back.

One Dad’s Mission 2026 is a 6,000-mile journey across America, beginning in Albuquerque and continuing through Tucson, Phoenix, California, the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and beyond. On July 29th, Jeff will embark on a monumental 4,600-mile bike ride from California to Pennsylvania. But this is not just a physical journey; it's a heartfelt mission inspired by the courageous battle his family

faced when his daughter, Hailey, fought for her life. Motivated by their own journey and the incredible support they received, Jeff is setting out to give back in a remarkable way. His mission? To visit 26 Ronald McDonald Houses along the way, starting July 29th from the Orange County Ronald McDonald House in Irvine, CA, and culminating in the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House on October 14th, just in time to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Philadelphia House! Each stop represents a beacon of hope for families facing health challenges, just like his own. It's a journey fueled by love, gratitude, and a deep desire to make a difference. As Jeff pedals his way across the country, let's rally behind him with our support and encouragement. Follow his journey, share his story, and consider how you can join him in spreading kindness and hope. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of families in need. Let's support OneDadsMission, RMHC, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region, Keeping Families Close and show the power of compassion in action!

Today is a somber day for me.

One year ago today, we lost Jimmy Murray, a man whose compassion, vision and willingness to answer a simple question changed the lives of millions of families around the world.

Dr. Audrey Evans once asked Jimmy, “Why isn’t there a house for families to stay when their child is sick?” She understood something so important: when a child is seriously ill, the entire family is affected.

Together, Jimmy and Dr. Evans helped create the very first Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia. What began with one house and one powerful idea has grown into a global mission, with Ronald McDonald House programs serving families in more than 60 countries.

My family was incredibly fortunate to spend time with Jimmy on many occasions. Every conversation, every smile and every story reminded me what one person can accomplish when compassion is turned into action.

Jimmy and Dr. Evans are two of the greatest inspirations behind why I founded One Dad’s Mission. They showed me that you do not have to accept that something is simply the way it is. You can ask, “How can we make it better?” and then do something about it.

If One Dad’s Mission can accomplish even 10% of the good they brought into this world, I will consider it a life well lived.

Missing you today and every day, Jimmy. Thank you for showing all of us what it truly means to make a difference. ❤🙏🏻

🎙️ A new episode of Shine a Little Kindness is here.

This conversation with Eric Goodman is a powerful reminder of why the Ronald McDonald House mean so much to so many families.

Eric and I share something that creates an immediate connection. We both know firsthand what it means to have the Ronald McDonald House there when your family needs it most.

When your child is facing a serious medical challenge, your entire world changes. In those moments, a meal, a room to sleep in, a conversation with someone who understands, or simply knowing that you are not alone can mean more than words can describe. ❤️

That is what this episode of Shine a Little Kindness is about.

It is about family.
It is about gratitude.
It is about people showing up for one another.
And it is about taking the kindness we have received and finding a way to pass it on.

Thank you, Eric, for sharing your story and your heart with me.

What an incredible night! 🎶❤️

Liz Bekos and I are so grateful to The Bacon Brothers and SixDegrees.org for inviting us to the show last night. The music was fantastic, the energy was amazing, and it was simply a wonderful night together.

But what made the evening especially meaningful was seeing One Dad’s Mission acknowledged by The Bacon Brothers and Six Degrees.

Our journey began with one family going through an incredibly difficult time, but it has grown into something much bigger. It is about supporting families whose children are fighting serious illnesses, recognizing the incredible work of Ronald McDonald House, and reminding people that a little kindness can make an enormous difference.

Seeing our story shared with the words, “We need more people in the world like...” was incredibly humbling.

Thank you to The Bacon Brothers and SixDegrees.org for believing in the power of kindness and for using your voices to shine a light on people and organizations trying to make a difference. ❤️

And yes, seeing Kevin Bacon on stage from just a few feet away was pretty darn cool too! 🎸🥁🎤

Keep spreading kindness. You never know whose life you may touch.

What a great week on the road!

We started with an incredible visit with our friends at Thor Motor Coach, then had the opportunity to help support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio at the . ❤️🏠

Along the way, we caught up with our friend Emad, experienced some of the wonderfully crazy sights at Uranus, the Amish riding -bikes and finished things off with a stop at for some great and delicious empanadas from !

One of the things Liz and I love most about traveling with One Dad’s Mission is getting off the highway, meeting people, supporting local businesses, and seeing places we probably never would have discovered otherwise.

There is so much to see, experience, and appreciate across this great country of ours. 🇺🇸

And apparently, sometimes the journey takes you all the way to Uranus! 😂

We are incredibly grateful for the continued partnership and support of Thor Motor Coach

For Liz and me, this partnership is about much more than an RV. THOR provides One Dad’s Mission with incredible RV expertise, but more importantly, they believe in what we are trying to accomplish as a family.

Together, we are traveling from community to community sharing a message of hope, kindness and compassion, visiting Ronald McDonald House, meeting families, delivering donated products and encouraging others to get involved.

The framed One Dad’s Mission jersey in this photo is a special reminder of how meaningful this partnership has become.

Thank you to everyone at THOR Motor Coach for believing in our family and helping us continue this journey.

We are proud to have you as a Partner in the Mission.

🦅🏈 What does it take to overcome adversity and reach the highest level of professional football?

In this episode of Shine a Little Kindness, I sit down with Philadelphia Eagles punter for an inspiring conversation about perseverance, teamwork, football, and making a difference.

After suffering a back injury in high school, Braden could have given up on his dream. Instead, he found a new path through kicking and punting. That decision eventually led him to become an All-American at Texas A&M University, win the Ray Guy Award, reach the NFLL, and help the Philadelphia Eagles become Super Bowl LIX champions. 🏆

Braden’s story is a powerful reminder that setbacks do not have to define us. Sometimes they lead us toward opportunities we never imagined.

Our conversation also goes beyond the football field. Braden shares the person behind the uniform and explains why success is about more than accomplishments. It is also about how we treat people and how we use our platform to help others. ❤️

Thank you, Braden, for joining me and helping us Shine a Little Kindness.

Pharmacists play such an important role in keeping our families and communities healthy. 💊❤️

I recently sat down with Mike Wysong, CEO of CARE Pharmacies, to discuss the essential role pharmacists play in healthcare across the United States.

Pharmacists do much more than fill prescriptions. They help patients understand their medications, manage chronic conditions, avoid dangerous drug interactions, receive vaccinations, and make better decisions about their health.

We also talked about the importance of independent and community pharmacies and the special relationships pharmacists build with the people they serve. 🏥🤝

For many patients, their pharmacist is one of the most accessible and trusted healthcare professionals in their community.

🎥 Please watch our conversation, https://youtu.be/QyvTFcttbhI share your thoughts, and help us recognize the pharmacists who care for patients every day.

Today I had the honor of sitting down with my friend Charles Antis, CEO of Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, for a very special Shine A Little Kindness conversation. 🎙️❤️

Charles and I share a special bond through our experiences with the Ronald McDonald House. We both understand how much those houses mean to families who are living through the unimaginable. A warm meal, a place to sleep, a kind word, and a community that cares can make all the difference. 🏠🙏

What I admire most about Charles is that he does not just talk about giving back. He lives it. Charles and his team at Antis Roofing are incredible examples of kindness in action. They show that kindness is good for business, and more importantly, that helping people should be part of who we are every day.

We also celebrated Cori Vernam’s Bennet Award, a wonderful recognition of compassion, leadership, and service. 👏💛

Grateful for Charles, his friendship, and the example he and his company set for all of us.
