Honoring the Life and Legacy of Carie Graham
The WestSlope Chapter of Trout Unlimited lost a very special member of our family with the passing of longtime board member and friend, Carie Graham.
Carie was a true go-getter. She was the kind of person who saw something that needed to be done and simply got to work. She never sought recognition or praise, and she certainly didn’t need the spotlight. She just cared deeply about the work, the people, and the places we all love.
Over the years, Carie was instrumental in leading and organizing many of our chapter’s successful fundraising banquets. Her hard work, attention to detail, and ability to bring people together helped make these events successful and strengthened our chapter in countless ways. Much of what she accomplished happened quietly behind the scenes, exactly the way she preferred it.
Her positive attitude, thoughtful perspective, and willingness to roll up her sleeves made her an invaluable part of our chapter. And when she wasn’t giving her time and energy to conservation, you could bet she was out fishing hard.
Carie leaves behind a tremendous legacy within WestSlope TU, one that will continue to influence our work and inspire those who follow in her footsteps.
We are incredibly grateful for her years of dedication, her friendship, and everything she gave to our chapter.
Tight lines, Carie. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will live on.
