Back by popular demand for a third round, please join us for this beginner friendly two part event, to make planters and fill them with a new plant! The first session will be hosted by Throw Ceramics Studio, where we will create sculptural planters on the evening of Monday, February 9th. All tools and clay will be provided, as well as light refreshments.

We’ll be working with slabs, which you can stamp, pattern, or carve to assemble your planter. Approximate finished size will be 4-5” tall/wide. You’ll choose your glaze/color, and then we’ll bisque fire, glaze, and glaze fire the work for you.

Next, we’ll meet at Vine on Monday, February 23rd with the finished planter reveal, to select, plant, and discuss care of/best location for, a plant of your choosing. Snacks & beverages will be provided at Vine as well!

Come make some new plant and human friends, and stave off the Winter blues with friends and snacks!

Join us for our first ever collaboration first at Throw Ceramics studio, and a couple weeks later @ Vine Plant shop for this 2 part planter workshop! For part 1, (June 12, 6-8pm), we’ll meet @ throw to craft a sculptural/slab planter together 🪴, and discuss design considerations for different kinds of plants. For part 2, we’ll gather at Vine plant shop on June 26 for the big reveal of your gorgeous planters (from 6-8pm) & select and plant a plant 🌱 ! Beverages & light snacks will be provided at both venues. We look forward to welcoming you!
