The Library Foundation is proud to make this one-of-a-kind experience possible for Missoula children!

Missoula Public Library is thrilled to welcome Mychal Threets, America’s favorite librarian, social media influencer, and host of the newly reimagined Rainbow Reading, to the Imaginarium this Sunday, May 3 at noon for a special program for school-aged children and their caretakers. Mychal will share the magic of libraries, highlight the importance of creating welcoming spaces for everyone, and read from his picture book “I’m So Happy You’re Here: A Celebration of Library Joy”

Did you know? The Library Foundation began working with the Missoula Symphony to bring the symphony into the library back in 2021. This program is now helmed by MPL’s Community Engagement team and fills the stacks with music about 4 times a year. Let’s hear it for literacy in all its forms!
