Neighbors! There is what appears to be a domesticated rabbit in the Franklin garden. Staff is looking to find its home so they can re-open the garden to students. Please share and help find where this bunny belongs!

Franklin families: Check out this upcoming event at the school!

Moose Lodge is hosting a free Bike Rodeo at Franklin Elementary School (basketball court!) on May 16th! This event will help kids learn road safety and bike handling skills.

The YMCA is looking for volunteers for the upcoming Riverbank Run this coming Saturday:

Safety is our top priority and we rely on volunteers to help keep the course safe for racers! Race volunteers are needed on race day (April 25, 2026) to direct traffic and cheer on racers. This one-day volunteer opportunity is perfect for individuals, students, community groups, and businesses wanting to give back to their community. All volunteers will need to attend a mandatory 30-minute volunteer orientation on race day prior to the start of their shift.

The YMCA Riverbank Run is an annual fundraiser for the Missoula Family YMCA. All proceeds stay right here in Missoula and benefit our financial assistance program. 2,500+ racers of all ages are expected to join us on race day, Saturday, April 25.

This is a one-day opportunity on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
There will be a mandatory 30-minute volunteer orientation on race day (April 25) at the YMCA. Stop by between 7:30–8:15 a.m. to complete your orientation and receive your specific location.
All volunteers should plan to be at their stations from 8:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m. There are a limited number of shorter volunteer shifts available. Please email [email protected] ASAP should you need a shorter shift.
All volunteers receive an official race T-shirt!
