We have had reports of scammers calling family and friends and stating their loved one is eligible or are currently in a jail diversion program and they are in need of a monitoring device. To keep them in this important program they need MONEY NOW!! 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐌!

Missoula County Sheriff's Office personnel, or any local, state, or federal agency, will not call you and demand money!!!

REMEMBER, your best defense is to HANG UP THE PHONE and if they continue with text messages block the number.

Last week, the Kalispell office was called by a mother whose 7-year-old son wanted to meet a Montana Highway Patrol Trooper. Trooper Arias had the honor of meeting her son to show him everything, MHP!
