Unfortunately, we had to cancel the March Chainsaw Safety Workshop due to low enrollment.
If you're still interested in learning about chainsaw safety from Tim Chennault and earning CEU's, PAAM has a second workshop opportunity for you on April 13th!
The workshop will offer a Level 1 training on April 13th from 9am-5pm at the Starkville Utilities Operations Center that covers PPE, sharpening, maintenance, safety, and felling techniques.
There will be an *optional* Level 2 workshop for 12 participants on April 14th at Dorman Lake Lodge that provides hands-on training with chainsaw safety. Level 2 workshop attendees should bring their own chainsaw and PPE.
***Please note that you do not have to sign up for the Level 2 training. You can just sign up for the Level 1 workshop on April 13th. The Level 2 workshop is for individuals who want some hands on experience felling trees under the supervision of an instructor.***
The first day of the workshop has been approved for 7.75 ISA CEU's and the second day has been approved for 7.5 ISA CEU's. Certificates of attendance will also be available to participants. Registration includes lunch on April 13th (and April 14th for Level 2 participants).
