Leadership Mission

Leading with Faith. Serving with Purpose. ❤️

Leadership is more than a title. It’s a commitment to serving others, strengthening our community, and leading by example.

This past Saturday, Leadership Mission Class 43 had the opportunity to put those values into action by volunteering at the City of Mission’s Faith & Family Festival, an event centered on faith, family, and community unity.

We are grateful to the City of Mission for bringing our community together and to our Class 43 members for demonstrating that meaningful leadership begins with a heart for service.

🚓🚒🚑 Leadership in Action: Police, Fire & EMS Day!

Yesterday, Leadership Mission Class 43 went behind the scenes with the City of Mission’s Police, Fire, and EMS departments to gain a deeper understanding of the people and operations that keep our community safe.

From emergency response to public safety operations, our class gained valuable insight into the leadership, teamwork, and dedication it takes to serve our city.

A special thank you to all of our presenters, department leadership, and first responders for sharing their time, knowledge, and experiences with Class 43!

Taking the conversation beyond the forum!

Ahead of the Mission Mayoral Candidates Forum, our Leadership Mission President, Christie Gonzalez, joined Sergio Sanchez on KURV 710 AM to discuss the importance of civic engagement and creating opportunities for our community to stay informed.

At Leadership Mission, we believe strong communities begin with informed and engaged citizens. Opportunities like these reflect our commitment to fostering civic awareness, encouraging community involvement, and developing leaders who are invested in Mission’s future.

A special thank you to Sergio Sanchez and KURV for helping us spread the word and supporting meaningful community conversations!

🩷 Some of the strongest leaders in our community are those fighting battles we may never see.

This morning, Leadership Mission had the privilege of volunteering at Mission Regional Medical Center’s 17th Annual Mission Pink 5K, joining our community in a morning filled with hope, strength, and purpose.

Every step taken was a tribute to those we have lost, a celebration of those who have overcome breast cancer, and a reminder to those still fighting that they do not stand alone. Their courage, resilience, and determination are a true reflection of leadership, inspiring us all to keep showing up for one another.

We are grateful to Mission Regional Medical Center and the City of Mission for bringing our community together for a cause that touches so many lives. 💗
