Leadership is built through service, connection, and a willingness to keep showing up for your community.
This Saturday, Leadership Mission Class 42 celebrated the completion of a meaningful nine-month journey filled with growth, learning, collaboration, and purpose. Throughout the program, this class gained a deeper understanding of the people, organizations, and opportunities that help shape Mission, while also building lasting connections with one another.
Class 42 embraced what it means to lead beyond a title. They showed up with heart, served with intention, and reminded us that strong communities are built by people who care enough to get involved.
Congratulations to Leadership Mission Class 42 on this incredible milestone. We are so proud of your journey and excited to see the impact you will continue to make in Mission and beyond.
A special congratulations to our Class Member of the Year, Mario Cantu, and Board Member of the Year, Oziel Vazquez. Your dedication, leadership, and commitment to this program truly stood out.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to our departing board members, Anthony Longoria and Robert Kirby, for three years of service, leadership, and dedication to Leadership Mission. Thank you for the time, energy, and heart you have poured into this program.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to our sponsors: the City of Mission, Mission EDC, and Texas National Bank. This program and celebration would not be possible without your continued support and belief in developing local leaders.
To Class 42: may this be only the beginning. Continue leading with heart, serving with purpose, and using the connections and lessons from this journey to make a lasting difference. Mission is stronger because of leaders like you.
