What a joy to host Ashley Bland, our Central Missouri Lifespan Services Coordinator, at our headquarters in Mission, KS yesterday! Ashley was welcomed to the team alongside her husband and two children, and then had a full day of collaborative sessions with DSI’s Executive Leadership and Lifespan Services Team. Ashley was loaded up with knowledge, connections, and resources from her fellow team members, and also enjoyed laughing and chatting with many adults and children with Down syndrome who were on our campus for services.

Our central Missouri families are in excellent hands and there is no doubt there is a passionate and knowledgeable team and a robust network alongside Ashley in this role.

SUMMER SERVICE: Adult Social Group beginning June 9th. An evening of fun with activites from Kareoke Night to Grill & Chill.

Adults are invited to attend our in-person social groups on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 PM. Sessions are always a balance of continuing education and having a good time with friends. We’d love to see you there!

Calling all Babies & Toddlers for Music and Motion tomorrow, May 15th at 9:30AM.

Join us for Music & Motion, a joyful class for babies and toddlers with Down syndrome (ages 6 months–3 years) and their caregivers, featuring tummy time, songs, instruments, movement, and a chance for parents to connect over coffee and snacks while little ones learn, bond, and grow.
