**Back by popular demand, DKG Book Club is continuing!** 📚✨

Our October selection is ***The Mostly True Story of Tanner & Louise* by Colleen Oakley**.

Tanner is twenty-one, frustrated, and not exactly thrilled about becoming a live-in caregiver. Louise is eighty-four, fiercely independent, and certain she does not need one. What begins as an unlikely arrangement quickly turns into something much bigger when the two women suddenly hit the road together.

Part road-trip adventure, part mystery, and part story of unexpected friendship, *The Mostly True Story of Tanner & Louise* is funny, heartfelt, and full of surprises. Along the way, it explores friendship across generations, reinvention, independence, family, and the stories we carry with us.

• Voices That Reach: Podcasting for Educational Leadership
This group is designed for DKG members who want to launch, sustain, or strengthen podcasting skills as instruments of professional voice and educational advocacy.
• Arts Integration in the Classroom
This group will support k-12 educators in integrating arts into their classrooms across all curricula. Participants will explore reading and project-based learning strategies as well as identifying characteristics of gifted and non-gifted students through creativity.
• Maps & Apps: AI-Enhanced Apps + Digital Maps
Attendees will embrace current AI apps and digital content to effectively build their own Apps and Maps portfolio using transferable AI essential skills.
• National Board Certification Visionary Network Group
This group brings together National Board candidates and National Board-Certified Teachers. Candidate support providers, those who work with candidates during the process, and DKG members who are interested in the process, are encouraged to participate.
These groups offer a powerful way to connect, exchange ideas, and spark inspiration across our worldwide DKG community.

Several Epsilon Upsilon members are scholarship recipients. We strongly encourage members to seek life long learning opportunities. DKG offers support along the way!

Do you know a DKG member pursuing an advanced degree who could benefit from our Scholarship Fund? Each year, scholarships of $10,000 for doctoral studies and $6,000 for graduate studies are awarded. Be sure to get them in before the deadline! Applications are due February 1st, 2027.
