The Buddy Poppy distribution, our most important fundraiser, goes to the VFW Relief Fund, which can only be used to support veterans, active military and their families. Last year our auxiliary donated to the VFW National Home in Eaton Rapids Michigan (providing a home for veterans and their families in transition), the Fisher House of Southern California (providing military and veteran families housing near their loved ones while they are hospitalized) and local veterans in need. The donations are also used to provide comfort items (personal hygiene items for “ditty” bags and new underclothing and socks) for our hospitalized veterans in the Veterans Administration Medical Centers and Hospitals.

This month, May, is traditionally our Buddy Poppy Distribution and we will be unable to distribute our poppies to the public in person due to the Pandemic. Please consider a donation to the VFW Auxiliary in the month of May. https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=BR4G9PLHERB9Q
