CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF HISTORY WITH 100 MEALS OF THANKSGIVING
Help the Mishawaka Food Pantry celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Historic Studebaker Corporation Building with a Thanksgiving Food Drive. We are honored to call this historic building our home and to celebrate we are holding a food drive to provide 100 complete Thanksgiving Meals to families and individuals in our community.
Items Needed:
Canned Green Beans & Corn
French Fried Onions
Stuffing
Mushroom Soup
Gravy
Brownie Mix (Dessert)
Oil
Cranberry Sauce
Gravy
Mashed Potatoes
Aluminum Foil
Non-Perishable Food Items to 'STUFF' the boxes w/extra food.
We also accept monetary donations to purchase our Turkeys!
Thank you for helping us celebrate 100 years of history by giving back to our community. Donations can be dropped off at the Mishawaka Food Pantry, 315 Lincolnway West, Mishawaka between 10am-2pm, Monday-Friday or call 574-220-6213

We're excited to partner with the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library to bring a fun-filled Storytime to the Mishawaka Food Pantry, in the garden!

🗓 Friday, August 14
🕥 10:30–11:00 a.m.
📍 Mishawaka Food Pantry

Children ages 0–5 are invited to enjoy stories, songs, crafts, and lots of smiles! No registration is needed, and families can also learn about free library resources and sign up for a library card.

🌞 It's a GREAT day at the Mishawaka Food Pantry! 🌞

We are so excited to begin sharing the fruits (and vegetables) of all the hard work that has gone into our pantry garden this season. And it's only the beginning!!!!
There have been countless hours spent preparing the soil, planting, weeding, watering, and caring for these gardens by our dedicated volunteers. Seeing that hard work turn into fresh, healthy food for the families we serve is incredibly rewarding.
A heartfelt thank you to Amazon and Army Recruiter volunteers who have helped make our garden such a success. Because of your time, dedication, and generosity, our clients can enjoy fresh, locally grown produce this summer. We couldn't be more excited to see all of that hard work paying off!

A huge thank you to our local Army Recruiters for spending their time and energy helping at the Mishawaka Food Pantry last week! They tackled some heavy garden work, clearing out scrub bushes and weeds from the flower beds along our fencing and helping prepare the area for new growth. Because of their hard work, you'll soon see beautiful new perennials and colorful sunflowers blooming around the pantry. They also built several extra-large, heavy-duty tomato cages that will support our garden throughout the growing season.

A huge THANK YOU to our local Amazon employees for their incredible support of the Mishawaka Food Pantry Garden!
Over the past month, they have volunteered on three separate occasions to help clean, organize, and plant our garden. Their hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication have transformed the space and will help us provide fresh produce to families in our community.
We are so grateful for their partnership--thank you for giving your time & energy to help us grow something special for those we serve!

This is what community partnership looks like in action! We are incredibly grateful for the amazing team of Amazon volunteers who rolled up their sleeves and made a huge impact at the Mishawaka Food Pantry Garden this week! Clearing beds, turning soil, pulling weeds, and prepping the space--the garden is now ready for planting next week. Help us fill the Shelves! Now through March 28, our friends at Ziker Cleaners are hosting a Cereal Drive to benefit the Mishawaka Food Pantry. Donate boxes of cereal or oatmeal and help local families start their day with a nutritious breakfast. We are incredibly thankful to the amazing students, faculty, and families of Queen of Peace School for their outstanding generosity and community spirit!
Through their recent cereal drive, they collected an incredible 203 boxes of cereal for the Mishawaka Food Pantry. What a wonderful example of kindness in action.
Their efforts will help ensure that local families have access to an important and comforting breakfast staple.
