This Spirit of America flag, also known as Old Glory's Companion - Honors veterans of all wars and all who gave or lost their lives on 9/11. Dedicated to men and women of all nationalities, living or dead, who served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and the Merchant Marines. The flag is flying across America and Military Installations around the world.

The Spirit of America Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 by a naval veteran realizing the need for historical recognition of American's heroes and the sacrifices they made for our country.

Digging the hole for Mr. Buckles flagpole - It was really cold that day. NBC was there to video the whole affair. The paper had a nice write up on our group.

My close friend Bob Heft in 1958 designed the 50 Star American Flag, he passed away on December 12, 2009. The 50 Star American Flag is the longest flying flag in American history and is still flying today. These are a few photo's of Bob & Myself and some of just Bob at different events. He will truly be missed!
