Planning for the future – especially when it comes to end-of-life planning – can be overwhelming. With this in mind, the Center for Education & Advance Care Planning is bringing together a panel of experts to discuss what you should know.

Join us for a panel discussion and complimentary lunch to learn about this important topic. The panel will include local trusted advisors who will discuss their experiences and answer questions on end-of-life issues. They will provide expert commentary on topics such as funeral planning, estate planning, real estate and insurance planning. We look forward to seeing you!

The family said, 'You know, doctor, you can stop right there. We’ve been watching The Pitt and we’ve seen how much suffering can be caused by resuscitation efforts when there’s no meaningful hope, and we would just like to have comfort care.' That blew my mind! The fact that the show gets people talking or taking real-life action is nothing I was prepared for."

The show’s unusually nuanced, realistic depiction of end-of-life decisions has already had a real-world impact.

Choosing a healthcare representative is more than just paperwork. It’s about choosing someone who sees you, hears you, and will honor your wishes when it matters most.

Reflect on it. Talk with the people you trust. And most importantly, make your choice while it’s still yours to make.

One of the most critical decisions a person can make — long before they’re sick or dying — is choosing their health care proxy. It isn’t just a checkbox on a form. It’s a reflection of your values, your voice, your vision of dignity.
