Social engineering is when scammers hack your emotions before they ever hack your device.

They use fear, urgency, trust, sympathy—even romance to get you to send money, click a link, share a password, or reveal personal information.

It may look like a romance scam, fake bank alert, tech-support call, emergency message, investment opportunity, or even an AI-generated voice pretending to be someone you know.
Before you react:

STOP. VERIFY. THEN ACT.
If something feels urgent, emotional, or just a little off—verify it another way first.

DON’T MAKE IT EASY FOR THEM.

3 Simple Ways to Protect Yourself from AI Scams & Fraud 🤖💻👩🏾‍💻
AI can make a scam look real. Your best defense is to slow down, verify, and protect your accounts.

💛❤ 1. Stop before you click. Scammers use AI to create realistic emails, texts, and websites. If something feels urgent or unusual, do not click the link. Go directly to the official website or app.

💛❤2. Verify the person. AI can copy voices, photos, and writing styles. If someone asks for money, passwords, gift cards, or personal information, contact them another way before responding.

💛❤3. Use extra protection. Turn on multi-factor authentication, use strong unique passwords, and keep your phone and computer updated.
