Just An Accident Stop Hit and Runs was founded to commemorate the life of Mr. Eugene Green, who lost his life to a Hit-and-Run driver September 13, 2014.

In his honor, Just An Accident Stop Hit and Runs is offering a $500 scholarship to high school seniors who have been impacted by Hit-and-Run violence.

To be considered for this scholarship, you must reside in either Miami-Dade or Broward counties.

Just An Accident Stop Hit and Runs was founded to commemorate the life of Eugene Green. In his honor JAAS is pleased to offer a $1,000 scholarship in his honor to high school students impacted by Hit and Run violence.

JAAS undertakes its mission of reducing Hit and Runs through awareness campaigns such as our Annual Broken Voices Event; "I Ride for Gene" Hit and Run Awareness Event and the Eugene Green College Scholarship. JAAS also supports Hit and Run Initiatives with state, county and local law enforcement agencies.

Investigators have identified Luisa Fernanda Ahearn as one of the subjects involved in a crash that killed a 14-year-old boy in Bal Harbour Saturday around 6 p.m.
