Vohra Wound Physicians in welcomes Dr. Charles Fang, M.D. as the latest addition to our practice.

Charles Fang, M.D. grew up in Lilburn, Georgia, a beautiful suburb of Atlanta. He attended Duke University and graduated with a major in biomedical engineering and a minor in chemistry. At Duke, Dr. Fang developed an interest in medicine and stayed for medical school. During this time, Dr. Fang spent two years in the lab studying the molecular and genetic factors that impact wound healing and muscle regeneration. This led him to pursue training in the field of vascular surgery and a career in wound care after residency. Dr. Fang felt both of these fields provided care for an underserved patient population with high medical complexity. Outside of medicine, Dr. Fang enjoys spending time traveling and exploring the outdoors with my wife and daughter.

We would like to congratulate Dr. Mariela Del Valle and the team at Camelot Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in Farmington, MO. They are the most recent recipient of Vohra's Center of Excellence designation for wound care.

Please welcome Dr. Kevin Carson, M.D., our newest member of the Vohra Wound Physicians team. Dr. Carson will be part of the Vohra Wound Physicians team in the Florence, SC area.

Dr. Kevin Carson, M.D. attended University of Virginia for his undergraduate degree from 1987-1991. In 1991, he enrolled in the graduate program at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed his degree in 1995. Then for his surgical residency he selected Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital and completed the program in 2001.

Dr. Carson has been in practice for over 22 years and is board certified in General Surgery, He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been practicing wound management for the past 14 years.

His hobbies include vintage electronics repair, hunting and fishing and he has been married to his wife Sue for the past 12 years.

Please join Vohra Wound Physicians in welcoming Dr. Sang Ho Rhee, M.D., our newest team member. Dr. Rhee will be part of the Vohra Wound Physicians team in the Maryland area.

Sang Ho Rhee, M.D. was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. Dr. Rhee came to the U.S when he was 16 years old, and attended Kent School in Kent, Connecticut. He received his BS in Biology and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Rhee attended graduate school at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where he was actively involved in volunteer work for underprivileged community. He completed his medical school rotation at Samsung University in Seoul, Korea which provided him firsthand exposure to health care outside of the U.S.

Dr. Rhee has a passion for women’s health, which inspired him to pursue Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Abington Memorial Hospital. After residency training, he was motivated to improve quality of life of women and completed female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Cooper University Hospital, in Camden, NJ.

Dr. Rhee had extensive training in a wide variety of cases including abdominal, vaginal, laparoscopic pelvic reconstructive surgeries. He puts great emphasis on patient physician relationship and values his time with patients.

Dr. Rhee is happily married to his wife, Munsook and has 2 children, Michelle and Ryan. His hobbies include skiing, singing, and running. He loves spending time with his family.

We are beginning a new series called Welcome Wednesdays that will feature the newest talent joining us at Vohra Wound Physicians. Talented individuals are the driving force that makes Vohra Wound Physicians the leader in wound care.

Please join Vohra Wound Physicians in extending a warm welcome to our newest team member Jaime Mitchell, ARPN. Jaime will be part of the Vohra Wound Physicians team in the greater Champaign, Illinois area.

Jaime Mitchell received her bachelor’s degree from Lakeview College of Nursing in 2008 and her master's degree in Science of Nursing from Indiana State University in 2014. She was an RN for 6 years in ICU and PACU, then became an NP for colon and re**al surgery for 6 years. There afterwards, she became an NP for surgical oncology for 4 years where she was the first assistant in surgery, as well as inpatient and outpatient services. She is currently working on her wound and ostomy certification. Jaime has been married since 2009 and has two sons, Kaleb (19) and Easton (12). She enjoys cooking and baking in her spare time, spending time outdoors as well as spending time with family and friends.
