When families face crisis, having a safe place to turn can change everything.

Since 2015, DCWAF has been honored to support Opportunity Place, Inc. and its mission to provide critical care for families in need. In that time, the Youth Program has grown tremendously, expanding with dedicated staff, STEM programming, literacy activities, and enriching experiences for children.

To date, 531+ children have found support through Opportunity Place's shelter, creating brighter futures one family at a time.

Through our partnership with Point Washington Medical Clinic, we've helped fund the clinic's pediatric room and, through our annual Galentine's Day Fundraiser, support health initiatives for girls in need, including HPV vaccinations, Pap smear pathology, and menstrual products.

Every day, Point Washington Medical Clinic provides preventive care that saves the community millions of dollars in avoided emergency room visits while creating healthier futures for families across Walton County.
