G.O.L.F. God showed me a verse.

On March 13, 2010, at 12:30 a.m., God called me to start G.O.L.F. I
was awakened and my first thought wasn't about why I woke up, but about the ministry. Everything was just flowing: What the ministry was, how to get it started, how to raise money, how to approach the mission field and where the mission field was. Ministries was created to go out to local golf courses and the community spreading t

he gospel and reaching as many people for Christ. We created gift bags because we'll be giving the gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ or Lord and Savior. In these bags, will be a sleeve of golf balls with the G.O.L.F. Ministries logo, a Gideons New Testament Bible, a salvation tract and information about the ministry. To raise the money for these items, we will have golf tournaments throughout the year and of course, take donations. Proceeds will also go to needs in the community. Now, I have never memorized this verse or anything in the past but He gave it to me. It is Psalm 86:12. This is where the acronym for G.O.L.F. comes from. Psalm 86:12

The Fall Grip-It and Rip-It for Christ golf tournament will be held at Heron Bay Golf Course on Oct. 2. This will not be a shotgun start. Everyone will have a designated tee time. The cost will be $80 a person and include range balls and a voucher for you and a guest to return on a later date to play the course for a discounted rate. It will also include 2 tickets to an awards banquet later that evening.

Gonna be having a meeting on Wednesday at 5:45 in room 204 at First Baptist Church of Locust Grove. We will be forming a committee to help with all aspects of the ministry.

As of now, the tentative date for our Fall Grip-It and Rip-It Tournament is September 25. Start making plans to attend now. It will be bigger and better, as we have more time to prepare. Believe me, you won't want to miss it. G.O.L.F. everyday.
